  1. Good morning! The header shows the Birthday Tree full of blooms (tree on the right, neighbor’s pear is on the left). You also can see how dark and dreary our days have been. Yesterday was and today is bright and sunny! It is beautiful out. About half those blossoms are gone due to heavy rains.

  2. My friend and I got our screening results back from Lifeline Screening. Mine showed nothing new to me, blood pressure is on the high side, and bone density needs to be looked at but not critical. But my friend’s test revealed she might have a heart problem. So glad we went! This is the friend I originally had thought I might get to take me over to see Jo, but I knew it best to not make travel plans with her. I so much hope she will be okay. Very thankful that my carodid arteries appear normal. That was my main concern.

  4. We are getting your snow! But just in melty form. Not going to get to two feet or even two inches. But that is okay, we played cornhole as it snowed.

  5. The Birthday Tree does have some fragrance but not too noticable. It has gotten larger but the neighboring pear tree has about doubled in size so from up the street the Birthday Tree is not seen for the pear tree. Still not sure how our tree will fare after all the roots got disturbed earlier in the spring.

  6. In from the Abby walk — so nice to get out while it’s still light now after work is done.

I always admire the pretty flowers and bushes that I would love to have in my yard.

Charlie Brown 1 in front still leans to the north, but I think it’s due to the strong winds we get off the ocean at our south-facing bluffs. I noticed the same kind of tree a few houses down, probably planted around the same time, and that one also leans just slightly to the north.
