Rose of Sharon or Althea! By either name, beautiful!
It’s 70° with minor rain although we had a few thunderclaps to bring it on.
A story this morning showed triplets heading to settle into college dorm life. All high-acheiving blacks, two sisters and a brother. The sisters will room together. I think of Empty Nest being multiplied by three along with all the college expenses.
Morning. That is a beautiful blossom up there. I recall having that plant in the backyard of my childhood home.
My Dad didn’t get that “gardening gene” like the rest of his family. He tore that beautiful plant out because it was too close to the beautiful stone bbq … which we never ever used! 😊
That flower hits you in the eye (but not like a big pizza pie).
We’re finally getting rain. We had 1.5 inches over the weekend and another 3/4 yesterday. Thing are greening up, so I guess I should mow the lawn today.
I just learned one of my grandsons did buy a class ring. His sister has no desire, however.
The smell of smoke was so strong this morning that I awoke my husband before dawn to help me make sure there was no fire nearby. We are back in high fire danger. Thankfully, there was no fire near us. Rain should be coming.
Janice, very encouraging article. She mentions the first letter method several times but does not explain. What is that?
I have failed memorization many times, including most of the wat through Ephesians. Finally settled on, He wants me to read it. Maybe now is the season to try again.
I used this method unknowingly when memorizing the books of the Bible, specifically GEPC for Galatians, Ephesians , Phillipians, and Colossians. I will find a Youtube to show the method in action.
