Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 56
Of David. A miktam. When the Philistines had seized him in Gath.
1 Be merciful to me, my God,
for my enemies are in hot pursuit;
all day long they press their attack.
2 My adversaries pursue me all day long;
in their pride many are attacking me.
3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
5 All day long they twist my words;
all their schemes are for my ruin.
6 They conspire, they lurk,
they watch my steps,
hoping to take my life.
7 Because of their wickedness do not let them escape;
in your anger, God, bring the nations down.
8 Record my misery;
list my tears on your scroll—
are they not in your record?
9 Then my enemies will turn back
when I call for help.
By this I will know that God is for me.
10 In God, whose word I praise,
in the Lord, whose word I praise—
11 in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can man do to me?
12 I am under vows to you, my God;
I will present my thank offerings to you.
13 For you have delivered me from death
and my feet from stumbling,
that I may walk before God
in the light of life.
Husband is off to highway district meeting and breakfast with an old guy. Son in law stayed home from work (his boss is a guy in our church and very pro family) to care for his children until husband gets home. Daughter is supposed to have the children, or have somebody watching them during “her” time but that fell through (her brother and wife) so she is having her husband (son in law) watch them at night, though she never asked him to but just dropped them off with him, and her dad (my husband) watching them days. Seems she picked up a second full time job. This is her mode of operation. Exhaust herself until something happens to stop her. Crash cars usually. She came by to pick up her children yesterday and had them for two hours.
That appears to be the sum total for the week, though she may get another couple hours here and there, we will see. Yet in her divorce documents, she is claiming primary custody. I tell son in law to journal all of it in case the judge is curious. Our life may be a little different from yours but we still need prayer. Especially, prayer for daughter to wake up to her need for Christ. She claims to be “the better Christian” so it will have to be a God thing to wake her up (as it is with all of us).

Boy is sick with some kind of stomach upset (but no vomiting so far, thankfully). Please pray that Nightingale and I steer clear of that. Thanks. (I usually get things worse than anyone else in the family.)
