Attorney for media group: “Without full public access to the complete historical record, there is concern that an ideologically-based narrative of an already polarizing event will take hold in the public consciousness, with destabilizing risks..,”
That’s laughable. They had no problem with the Dems one-sided fact free narrative though…
Clowns.
LOL
Remember all the screeching by Swalwell, Schiff & Kinzinger saying the release would be a national security threat? Now media organizers such as CBS and CNN are demanding them.
It’s incredible to watch the stenographers in the corporate press, who didn’t lift a finger to obtain more of the footage than they were spoon fed by Speaker Pelosi. now finding their fourth estate truth to power voice again. https://t.co/ltwiuHlo6J
love how many people are like "who are you to judge, of course I might head the opposite direction to go ziplining and taking Twitter-ready selfies to later regale my public with instead of running to be by my partner's side as he sits alone and afraid in a strange town."
She did what any wife like her would do when she forces her clearly mentally handicapped husband into running for office and drives him into depression… She goes on vacation. https://t.co/2X8C0921hN
Remember folks, they’re not coming for your gas stove. That’s a myth from Republicans.
A new Biden administration “efficiency” rule would effectively ban half of all gas stoves on the U.S. market from being sold, according to an Energy Department projection.
“Minnesota joins growing movement to ban new homes from having any gas at all
The language in the proposed Minnesota bill mirrors legislation passed in May 2022 in New York, which enabled regulators to make updates to the state energy code to promote “clean energy.”
“A growing number of states and cities are considering or implementing bans for the future construction of not just gas stoves, but natural gas hookups themselves, a move that would raise costs for consumers and potentially have negative environmental consequences, natural gas advocates told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Lawmakers in the state of Minnesota introduced legislation this month that would permit the state’s Commissioner of Labor and Industry to amend the state’s energy code to “mitigate the impact of climate change,” a directive that could be used to justify a ban on natural gas, according to the free-market Minnesota think-tank Center of the American Experiment. California and New York are weighing statewide bans which would not only increase costs but may not have the climate benefits advocates hope for, Dan Kish, senior fellow at the Institute for Energy Research told the DCNF.
“Natural gas is our cleanest fossil [fuel] and it is responsible for the U.S. reducing carbon dioxide emissions more than other countries, largely because we have centuries of the stuff,” Kish told the DCNF. “God blessed North America with enormous energy wealth, and our only impediment is power-hungry politicians who want to make energy more expensive and more foreign, while bossing Americans around by telling them how to heat their homes and what kind of car they can drive.”
Roughly half of all homes in the U.S. use natural gas for space and water heating, accounting for about 15% of all natural gas consumption in the U.S., according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Space heating with natural gas tends to be far cheaper than all-electric systems because they are more energy efficient, according to Seattle-based HVAC firm Evergreen Home Heating and Energy.
The issue of natural gas bans gained national prominence after news broke that the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC) was considering banning gas stoves nationwide amid concerns that the pollutants produced by the stoves may have harmful effects. Yet, the study that these concerns are based on was partly funded by a pair of activist groups that advocate for the electrification of appliances.
The city of Eugene, Oregon, became the first in the state to institute a ban on new natural gas hookups this month, according to the Associated Press. City Council members cited a desire to reduce the city’s carbon footprint and eliminate health hazards as primary reasons behind the new ban, which impacts all new residential buildings that are three stories or less.
The language in the proposed Minnesota bill mirrors legislation passed in May 2022 in New York, which enabled regulators to make updates to the state energy code to promote “clean energy” and “efficiency standards for appliances.” This New York statute was justification for the state’s Climate Action Council December proposal to change the New York energy code to effectively ban gas hookups in new buildings, the Center of the American Experiment reported.”
“A Washington teacher complained on Friday that many schools’ “guidelines and laws” haven’t helped them keep students’ information secret from “Christo-fascist” parents.
A tweet shows Auburn School District 408 teacher Karen Love responding to another that urged parents to check their school district’s policy regarding keeping info about their child’s secret from them.
“Parents-check your school districts’ policy regarding keeping info about YOUR child secret from you. There are some scary policies out there. Schools should not have a right to keep info about your child from you unless abuse by you is suspected. There I said it and mean it,” a tweet written by “The Principle’s Office” reads.
Love responded, “I cannot disagree with this more. So many students are not safe in this nation from their Christo-fascist parents. And our guidelines and laws haven’t caught up with this.”
The Twitter thread of Love and the other users was reposted as a screenshot by Ian Prior, a senior advisor at American First Legal. ”
““Teacher in Washington State thinks schools don’t go far enough to keep secrets about their students because they ‘are not safe in this nation from their Christo-fascist parents,’” Prior tweeted.”
You’re just spreading conspiracy theories they said…..
Fauci is the expert and he doesn’t lie they said.
The US government is now admitting #Covid was created in a lab. Now we must ask. Who created it? Who funded it? Who created a massive regime of censorship for two years to suppress the truth about the origin of Covid? Who is responsible, and who needs to pay for this? pic.twitter.com/o3HtZfZZOk
And once again our corrupt DoJ and FBI helped hide the truth.
“In a Nov. 18 letter, FBI Assistant Director Jill Tyson said the agency couldn’t share those details because of Justice Department policy on preserving ‘integrity of ongoing investigations.’” https://t.co/oLuEePdC0J
And of course always trust the media and their fact checkers…
This is a fun thread to revisit. NBC News’ main disinformation reporter dismissing what now everyone acknowledges are legitimate questions as “fear-mongering Coronavirus conspiracies” is pretty good representation of that entire beat. https://t.co/eT4KRnPEfw
“the corporate press”; an amusing phrase as one corporate entity did gain access to the videos. McCartney’s act was the government picking winners in the free market, something a free market party as the Republicans should not do. Perhaps they are no longer a free market pro-capitalist party.
The criticism directed to Fetterman’s wife is cliche misogyny – the power hungry woman abuses her husband. In truth, Fetterman always had political ambitions before and after his stroke.
The gas stove scare, the sequel – seriously? In any case of outdated consumer goods which violated new rules, they were grandfathered. The government didn’t confiscate lead engine cars, fridges with CFCs, etc. They are phased out. And no they aren’t coming from your guns either.
Although concerns about natural gas are weird – heating oil is worse, electricity is produced by burning coal, etc. And North Americans are weirdly paranoid of gas stoves having bad health effects or leaking whereas Europeans almost all use gas stoves.
Why is the Dept of Energy, DOJ or the FBI a source on Wuhan? I’d think CDC would be the best source of information.
“Christo-fascists”? Some school boards need to pay their teachers more to attract a better quality. However silly this teacher sounds; teachers do withhold information. Grades, work habits, sexuality, etc are withheld on the basis of professional judgement. If I suspect physical or emotional abuse, I’m quite reluctant to call about poor grades, missed work or attitude. Middle school teachers rarely if ever tell parents about “dating relationships”. For the most part, these relationships rarely last and rarely involve any issues. Some relationships do last into high school and parents become more aware. Then you have situations where two girls who were dating and one was Muslim. Strangely all the students were aware but the girl’s mom was not aware (she was quite liberal but the younger sister told me even that was a line she wouldn’t cross). A teacher’s role is not to enforce parental rules, however they are based, but to educate and keep order in the classroom.
Carrying the Dem’s water is what they do.
