π¦ Our friend’s death and the Alzheimer’s that proceeded it.
π The sweet release for his family and himself.
π The hope in Christ we can all have.
π The fun of watching older and even those with dementia enjoying music. This man’s foot would tap even when he was not there consciously. This week we saw several get up and dance. I have observed that it only takes one or two joyous people to help lift others up. No wonder God calls us to be joyful and hopeful.
π Those wonderful people who care for others no longer able to care for themselves! Yes, mumsee and her family, too. And I cannot forget Chas’ family. We should all be so blessed.
Golf tournaments from the Riviera Golf Club in Cali. Dad used to caddy there (and yes, some big names came his way) and enjoys watching the Genesis Invitational.
π Productive day, picked up prescriptions (after being hounded by Walgreens all week, every day, they were quite frustrated with me); picked up groceries, walked Abby twice. She let an older man in the neighborhood pet her after first pulling away shyly.
She’s coming along.
π Resisted — with AMAZING effort — buying Girl Scout cookies outside of Sprouts.
No guarantee I’ll succeed next time. I was a Girl Scout and used to sell cookies myself.
I did not resist! One sleeve of thin mints down with one to go! One sleeve of dosi doβs down with one to go! Husband is the peanut butter cookie lover . And I love thin mintsβ¦ too bad they donβt make the Cookie Monster(me) thin!!!!

π Sunny day Saturday that is raising temps toward spring-like weather
π Mix of leftovers for lunch, odd lunch mates but nutrious
π Sleeping cats
π Listening to songs of revival on social.media from Asbury and feeling the peace
π Great physical therapists
π Flowers that bloom in late winter
π Online church
