Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 12
A psalm of David.
1 Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore;
those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.
2 Everyone lies to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.
3 May the Lord silence all flattering lips
and every boastful tongue—
4 those who say,
“By our tongues we will prevail;
our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”
5 “Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan,
I will now arise,” says the Lord.
“I will protect them from those who malign them.”
6 And the words of the Lord are flawless,
like silver purified in a crucible,
like gold refined seven times.
7 You, Lord, will keep the needy safe
and will protect us forever from the wicked,
8 who freely strut about
when what is vile is honored by the human race.
Praying for grandpa today as his oxygen continues to spiral down.
Praying for A today, the now one hundred one year old uncle in law living with step mom in law and her daughter and husband in Florida. He went to the hospital yesterday for low oxygen and is diagnosed with covid/pneumonia and is hospitalized. He is anxious to get Home so this might be the time.

Oh, Mumsee. Prayers, for sure.
I’m starting my Bible study in a little under an hour and using Zoom for the first time. Please pray it goes without a hitch. My ladies are leery, but some have no choice (one lives in Massachusetts).
Almost everyone should be there this morning (it’s a beautiful day), but we have a few who are now housebound.
I’m more anxious about the Zooming than I am about the study–which is on Acts 18-10 and pretty thrilling!
Thanks.

Praying it is all working well for you and the ladies, Michelle. What a blessing to have this outreach tool!

Prayers, Mumsee, for God’s best to be evident as it all works out for good for believers who are at home with Jesus here or in the unseen realm. Prayers for comfort and peace to prevail. In the name above all names, Jesus. Amen

Prayers for mumsee and zoom.
I’m having a particularly tense week at work, pray for a clear head and direction on a story that has had to be re-crafted in its overall theme. I’ve interviewed several people and need to somehow pull it together cohesively.
And I’m still having to contribute to the aftermath of the shooting story, finding I’m not very adept at using the high-end people search tool (in large part because we mere reporters have never had access to it before as it’s so expensive — editors and breaking news team have had it, but not the rest of us, we usually just go to one of them to look things / people up for us — so I’m trying to learn as I go and not being very successful).
And I’m on to take feeds from reporters in the field and write a story tomorrow (after I get back from early-morning dr appt for bloodwork) on the unfolding homeless count; I also have a port speech to cover on Thursday. I’ve dreaded this work week for a reason.

Praying for you, DJ, as you serve God in the ministry of journalism. May He give you wisdom and insight as you tell the story.

Amen to that prayer, Mumsee.
Reading of the grueling schedule, DJ, reminds me of how tax season affects us. Truly not ready this year.

Thank you, mumsee.
I’m sure my medical leave pay factors into my taxes this year, I am expecting (hoping) to get a year-end statement from them that I’ll be sure to include.
I’m also hoping to get in for an in-person appointment w/the tax guy this year for the first time in a while, I have questions.
Striking out at getting many call backs on stories, but sounds like many of my colleagues are having the same kind of non-responses. I’ve sent out numerous calls, emails, FB and Twitter msgs, you name it.
I’m also picking up any unrecognized number that comes in on my phone, just in case. So I have help if needed on my electric bill and contractors are in my area today, can they stop by for some estimates?

Zoom was fun. One unexpected woman signed in, another expected on Zoom phoned in. We just ran with it and everyone seemed happy. Thanks for your prayers.
