It’s Thursday, so don’t forget Jo and the folks in PNG.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8 Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Yesterday I requested prayer for daughter and just that quickly, God worked. In the wee hours this morning, I woke up praying for twenty one daughter and shortly after heard tires on my driveway so got up knowing the sheriff or deputies were here for a visit. Sure enough, daughter had attempted self harm and then walked over to the sheriff dept to seek help. The sheriff offered to put her in an ambulance to go to the hospital or husband could take her. Hopefully, this will open a door somewhere or they will at least keep her for ten days. Prayer for wisdom on helping her and strength to carry on with husband and son gone for the day leaving fifteen and I to care for the two dads.

Please pray for safety in this storm. Sky is darkening and I hear the thunder advancing. It might be really bad in the next few hours. Temp will drop about 30 degrees by tonight. Under tornado watch. Thank you for praying.

Really bad, bad weather. Power is out at Art’s office. 7,000 are out of power in this couny. So many tornados. We had a horrific wind gust here. Art saw it on radar at his office. This is not typical for January here, more like March and April.

I prayed this morning for you, Janice, and again when I saw the reports. Hope you will be safe until it all passes.

Yeah, God at work, Janice. We had thunder and lightning the other night–summer weather in January. Will anyone pay attention to God?
Prayers for safety, as well, of course. Scary.

Thanks for the prayers. It has been a heavy duty day. I have worried about Art at the office with no basement to get into. A town just 20 miles down the highway from the office got hit especially hard.

Have prayed for you all Janice . A local meteorologist posted a graphic as the tornado crossed I75…appeared to be a very angry storm!😞

The hospital ER will keep daughter until they locate a place and presumably will transport her there.
