  6. Regardless of guilt or innocence and other alleged crimes, is this really how we treat prisoners now?

    In Biden’s America it is.

“Capitol riot defendant “viciously and savagely” beaten by guard in Washington, D.C. jail, lawyer says”

“A Capitol riot defendant was “viciously and savagely” beaten by a guard in a Washington, D.C. jail and may lose sight in one eye because of his injuries, one of his lawyers told the CBS affiliate in the city, WUSA-TV. Ryan Samsel is accused of pushing over barriers and knocking down a police officer – causing her to suffer a concussion – during the January 6 riot.

Samsel is from Bristol, Pennsylvania, in Bucks County, CBS Philadelphia reports.

Samsel has been in federal custody since his arrest in January on charges of forcibly assaulting or interfering with a federal agent, obstructing an official proceeding and obstructing an officer.

This week, another Capitol riot defendant, Ronald Sandlin, told a federal judge during a bail hearing that Samsel was one of a number of defendants in the case who’d been subjected to violence by D.C. correctional officers.

In an interview with WUSA, Elisabeth Pasqualini said Samsel was “viciously and savagely” beaten by a corrections officer in the D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility after the guard zip-tied Samsel’s hands.

She said she was only alerted to the alleged attack when two attorneys representing other defendants contacted her and said her client had gotten “a beatdown” by a guard and was in the hospital.

“He has definitely suffered serious injuries, including a shattered orbital floor, a broken orbital bone, his jaw was broken, his nose was broken,” Pasqualini said, adding that Samsel is currently unable to see out of his right eye and may permanently lose vision in it.

Even before the alleged assault, Pasqualini said, her client was being held in lockdown for 23 hours a day and was having a hard time getting access to hygiene supplies and the shower. She said he’s since been moved to another jail, where he remains under lockdown.

Pasqualini said she reported the alleged assault to jail officials, who told her they were conducting an internal investigation. She also reported it to the FBI which, she said, told her it was investigating, as well.”

  7. Echoes of the Reichstag Fire in which German fascists in the early 1930s ginned up pretext to seize power and jail their political opponents.

When will there be a report disclosing why Pelosi called Ray Epps six times on January 6th?

The evidence keeps piling up that Jan. 6th was a total setup coordinated by Pelosi and the FBI.

“The U.S. government has acknowledged for the first time that five FBI confidential informants were involved with the Oath Keepers on Jan. 6, 2021, but prosecutors failed to disclose that none of the sources provided evidence of guilt, a defense lawyer said on Sept. 26.

FBI officials have repeatedly declined in congressional hearings to say whether there were agents or confidential human sources (CHS) in the crowd when the U.S. Capitol was breached on Jan. 6. But in pretrial communications in the Oath Keepers’ seditious conspiracy case, prosecutors disclosed that there were five sources informing on the Oath Keepers, David Fischer, who is representing defendant Thomas Caldwell, said in the new filing.

“What the Government knew—but only recently disclosed to the Defendants—was that none of the CHSes provided evidence of guilt on the part of the Oath Keepers as an organization, or the individual Defendants in this case,” Fischer said.

He said the fact was confirmed by the government telling defense lawyers that only one of the informants will take the stand during the Sept. 27 trial of former Oath Keepers leader Elmer Stewart Rhodes III and four others, including Caldwell.

Top FBI officials have declined to answer questions on how many, if any, informants were at the Capitol around the time of the breach.

“I can’t answer that,” Jill Sanborn, the FBI assistant director for national security, told Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) during one hearing.

But prosecutors in a recent motion disclosed that multiple sources have been involved in the investigation into the Oath Keepers, a group comprised of former and current members of the military, law enforcement, and first responders.”

  8. Nice catch Tychicus, but the usual suspects will continue to ignore this obvious set up and pretend it’s true in order to indict their political opponents. and disqualify Trump.

And 1/3 of our “side” will play along.

  9. I’ve been warning about Epps and this being a set up for quite awhile now. While these biased trial judges may continue to allow the facts of who orchestrated this farce to remain hidden, that won’t stand on appeal. They will be outed, they’re just hoping it’s not until after midterms.

  10. Just gonna leave this here….

Enjoy funding the invasion of our country.

“USAID Was Awarded Millions for Humanitarian Assistance to Immigrants – US Taxpayers Footing the Bill for the Southern Border Invasion”

“SAID is no longer hiding its efforts involved in the invasion along the US Southern Border. In June this year, USAID was awarded millions to assist migrants entering the US.”

The Catholic Church is complicit as well.

  11. Judicial Watch is on it.

“Judicial Watch Sues State Department and USAID for Records Related to Funding for Soros’ Open Society Foundation Albania”

“Judicial Watch today announced it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for records relating to their funding of the political activities of the Soros Open Society Foundation – Albania (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (No. 1:17-cv-01012)). The lawsuit was filed on May 26, 2017.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after both State and USAID failed to respond to identical March 31, 2017, FOIA requests seeking:

All records relating to any contracts, grants or other allocations/disbursements of funds by the State Department (USAID) to the Foundation Open Society-Albania (FOSA) and/or its personnel and/or any FOSA subsidiaries. Such records shall include, but is not be limited to proposals, contracts, requests for funding, payment authorizations, invoices, and similar budget records, as well as any and all related records of communication between State Department officials, employees, or representatives and officials, employees, or representative of the U.S. Agency for International Development.

All records of communication between any officials, employees or representatives of the State Department (USAID), including but not limited to U.S. Ambassador Donald Lu, and any officials, employees or representatives of Foundation Open Society-Albania, its subsidiaries and/or affiliated organizations.

All assessments, evaluations, reports or similar records relating to the work of Foundation Open Society-Albania and/or its subsidiaries or affiliated organizations.

All records of communications transmitted via the State Department’s SMART system sent to or from any employee of the U.S. Government operating under the authority of the Chief of Mission in Tirana that pertain to Foundation Open Society-Albania, its subsidiaries and/or affiliated organizations.

In a March 14, 2017, letter to Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson, six U.S. Senators (Sens. Lee (R-UT), Inhofe (R-OK), Tillis (R-NC), Cruz (R-TX), Perdue (R-GA) and Cassidy (R-LA)) called on the secretary to investigate the relations between USAID and the Soros Foundations and how U.S. tax dollars are being used by the State Department and the USAID to support left-of-center political groups who seek to impose left-leaning policies in countries such as Macedonia and Albania.

In the letter, the senators reference USAID funding of Soros activities in Macedonia and then cite similar activities in Albania:

Much of the concerning activity in Macedonia has been perpetuated through USAID funds awarded to implement in entities such as George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. As the recipient of multiple grant awards and serving as a USAID contractor implementing projects in this small nation of 2.1 million people, our taxpayer funded foreign aid goes far, allowing Foundation Open Society-Macedonia (FOSM) to push a progressive agenda and invigorate the political left…

This problem is not limited to Macedonia, but appears to follow a pattern of alarming activity in this volatile region. Respected leaders from Albania have made similar claims of US diplomats and Soros-backed organizations pushing for certain political outcomes in their country. Foundation Open Society-Albania (FOSA) and its experts, with funding from USAID, have created the controversial Strategy Document for Albanian Judicial Reform. Some leaders believe that these “reforms” are ultimately aimed to give the Prime Minister and left-of-center government full control over judiciary power.

Soros’ association with the State Department in Albania goes back at least to 2011 when Soros urged Hillary Clinton to take action in Albania over recent demonstrations in the capital of Tirana. Fox News reported on August 17, 2016 that:

Newly leaked emails and other files from billionaire George Soros’ web of organizations are shedding light on the liberal powerbroker’s extensive influence in political and diplomatic affairs.”

  12. Desantis probably called Trump a moron; lots of Republicans who initially opposed Trump called him a moron. If I remember correctly Lindsey Graham did. Many of Trump’s highest ranking staff members called him a moron.

Ted Cruz’s fear-mongering is off. Most major US cities elect Democrats because Democrats represent urban values and for the same reason rural areas and small towns elect Republincans. On a per capita basis, violent crime rates in major cities and smaller population centers are quite similar. Basically, Cruz is saying America is a violent place.

Cops have always whined about their job. It’s what they do. Just because the right is paying attention now doesn’t mean it’s new. But what happened to support the blue and the thin blue line. That thin blue line will beat up anyone who touches a cop – the behaviour of prison guards is not new, you hit a cop and accidents happen in jail. This is nothing new and not unique to Jan 6th. Defund the police and things may change

The FACE Act was written to protect abortion clinics — pro life counselling centers do not provide health care nor does the Catholic church, hence they are not protected by the FACE act

The choppy video of news and democrats talking about civil war etc is badly edited. In some cases especially the news clips it’s just them quoting Republicans. I also find it ironic that your next post calls people “UnAmerican Vermin”. My conservative Christian father once told me (I forget the context); only Nazis call people vermin, we are all humans no matter who we are. When people are called vermin, people die. The grand jury statement looks standard; this is what passes for a legal document.

Strange Jan 6th groups are asking for donations to their legal defense. I thought Trump was paying lawyer expenses, after all, he fundraised off the riot and subsequent arrests.
