I got home to a lovely birthday card from one of mine. He had received one with a dinosaur, reading: Dino-four, Wishing you a happy fourth birthday. He decided that I needed that card for my birthday so he sent it. He wrote some nice letters on the back to personalize it.

😀 A More Than Pink (Susan Komen) breast cancer walk in Buckhead, a few miles from here today
😳The More than Pink banner here today has one end pink and the other end a rainbow. Hmm . . .just wondering. The walk has a joint focus on black ladies who have more breast cancer than others.
😀 Had my first coffee since before the surgery this chilly morning
🙂 Covid positive but so far mostly just a super-bad cold. Not pleasant, but grateful I got one of these later versions that cause fewer complications.
🙂 Call from my elder (who also had covid back in July) — sympathy, prayer, offers of assistance, all warmly appreciated.
😦 Kind of killed off the remainder of the knee PT appointments. Sigh.
🙂 Grateful I was able to stay careful enough and get this before the surgery which could have been delayed as a result. That was always my plan, decided I could take more risk once that was all behind me. So here I am. 🙂
🙂 Knee is coming along very well, I’m so glad I got that surgery done and it’s now behind me, at long last. Grateful for modern medicine.
🙂 Waiting for cough med to be delivered from the pharmacy today, called in by my GP.
