Of David. A psalm.
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
5 They will receive blessing from the Lord

Wandering Views 
We got a wake up phone call around two thirty this morning. Seems twenty climbed out her window and walked herself to the ER to tell them she was going to kill herself if she had to stay any longer at the facility. She must feel like it is home now! Anyway, they have started the long process of trying to find a spot for her in a psych ward so her meds can be adjusted under the gaining hospital’s supervision. She made it nearly five months, longer than at home. Prayer for wisdom for those dealing with her, and patience. And prayer that the Truth would penetrate her confusion and give her peace.

Heavenly Father, I lift up Dj to You asking You to keep her mind steady on You as her surgery date approaches. Thank You for seeing her through the grueling adventures in pre-op prep over the past weeks. Thank You that things have worked out so far for the surgery to go forward as scheduled. I pray You are readying every person, area, instrument, medicine, and detail that will be involved in her surgery. Asking that Your divine touch go before her for the even more extensive pre-op prep that only You can do. You know what is needed for each step along the path to full recovery and joyous regaining of full function for dj. Let it all go as smoothly as she desires, as the doctors hope, and as we pray for here. Thank You for listening to Your children praying. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Please pray for Nightingale. She has been letting a lot of things slide this summer, including not watering her downstairs plants. (When I see that one particular plant has fainted, I go around and water the plants. But I’m not a plant person, and don’t really know what I’m doing. For all I know, I am drowning some and not giving others enough.) I think that the stress of the past few years has caught up to her, and she has decided to take the summer off from some chores and duties. (At least, I hope that’s all it is.)
Anyway, this has added to my own stress, with not knowing what is going on with her, and seeing her let these things slide. I’m actually a little scared.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit would draw my Nightingale to Jesus, and that she would lay aside her independence, stubbornness, and unbelief, and turn to Him and be saved. Thank you, and God bless.
