Prayer Requests 8-3-22

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 15

A psalm of David.

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
    Who may live on your holy mountain?

The one whose walk is blameless,
    who does what is righteous,
    who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
    who does no wrong to a neighbor,
    and casts no slur on others;
who despises a vile person
    but honors those who fear the Lord;
   who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
    and does not change their mind;
who lends money to the poor without interest;
    who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.

   Whoever does these things
    will never be shaken.

  1. I’ve only had surgery once, quite a few years ago, and I remember later realizing that the very worst part of it was the anticipation beforehand. I’m trying to remind myself of that now.

    Good to hear Jo’s flat is getting passed on seamlessly.

  2. We’ve done the kidney stone surgery before and for that the worst is afterwards with pain from the stent which the fragments move through, dealing with the catheter, trips to ER for bleeding or lack of flow, etc. Sorry about the gruesome details. At least I know. Not so concerned about my surgery except for the delay of it and not being able to help Art.

  3. My other surgery was a C-section with a 10 lb. 13 oz. baby to care for afterwards. My body did not feel back to normal for about 6 months.😀 And of course life in general never got back to the normal we had known previously.😀
