Good Morning!

The pics are for DJ. I’m so sorry for the loss of your faithful friends.

  1. Such wonderful photos. Feeling weepy over the great loss, dj. My last prayer at bedtime was for you, and I woke up in the night and prayed again. May you feel supernatural lifting as God makes use of our prayers to comfort you.

  2. Morning all….being greeted by Cowboy, Tess and Annie! Happy and sad tears to start our morning all the while knowing Cowboy and Tess had the best of life with our dear Dj….
Those Cowboy eyes and the smile on that face of Tess….you were a good “Mom” Dj 💕 Praying for you this morning….

  4. Dj, give yourself time to grieve. Don’t expect anything of yourself or to get anything done. Just remember these two precious ones and let yourself cry.

  5. Working at finding things here. So nice to be here. To have my own space and not trying to keep someone else’s space how they want it.
This is the weekend of the Agony bike ride. I think my daughter in law is riding and my friends husband is riding.
So I felt moved to offer to watch my friends granddaughter who is living with them, and the grandson if it is needed. The mom does not want them. Friend has to be very firm to even get the mom to take them for a night. This is not good for the little girl, so I said that I would be the relief, when needed. Well they need it this weekend for the ride. So I will have her from Thursday evening til late Saturday/. With all the time in their home she is very comfortable with me and was happy to hear that she could come here. I am such a recluse that it will be very different. Prayers for strength and creativity.

  6. I see from yesterday that our visit to the Dayton area took us to Kizzie’s and NJ’s old stomping grounds. So you can know more precisely where we’ve been, most of the ultimate games are at the Lebanon Sports Complex. The opening ceremony and the final games are at Mason High School.

  8. I know that there is a lot more to “furries” but that was the most basic way to define it. So many slippery slopes for young people to get caught up in these days.

  9. Sorry to hear your sad news, Dj. That will take some getting used to. 😦

My brother-in-law’s funeral was very nice. He was friends with his pastor and the pastor did a wonderful talk. The church (which none of us had been in before) also did a wonderful meal for after the service. The message was pure gospel. The church was full; not that it is a big church. It is amazing how many lives were touched by Irvin. I know he would have been amazed and pleased. As it is, he is out of pain for the first time in a long time. He always looked forward to being with the Lord. He will leave a void.

It has been a couple of crazy days with my husband getting his second cataract out and also playing music. He missed his regular jam for the funeral but had to play this evening. That should have been outside, but it was raining so was moved into a VFW. The place was full.

We got around three inches of rain yesterday. Meanwhile my daughters who live more down south are in drought, as is the one in TN. We have had a lot of beautiful evenings for playing music, so we cannot complain.
