Prayer Requests 6-17-22

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Anyone else?

Psalm 125

A song of ascents.

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people
    both now and forevermore.

The scepter of the wicked will not remain
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
    their hands to do evil.

Lord, do good to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.
But those who turn to crooked ways
the Lord will banish with the evildoers.

    Peace be on Israel.

  1. Praying, AJ. How fast the weeks and healing have been passing. May you feel God’s presrnce with you along with the lifting of prayers to raise you up from us and your church body and others.

  2. Just wondering about the sweet doggie who needs care. Is there any possibility that Nightingale would pay Chickadee to doggie sit in her absence? Of course, it would require a stay over by Chickadee. From afar that seems it would be a good break for everyone😀❤🙏

  3. Janice – I had actually brought that up to Chickadee, but she declined. With her anxiety, doing something so out of the ordinary as that would be too hard for her. 😦

Speaking of my beloved Chickadee, I was snooping on her old Tumblr account, and found some links to other sites she wrote on. I won’t go into details, but suffice it to say that with certain beliefs, she is in more spiritual danger than I had previously thought. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to break through to her. Thank you.

  4. AJ is wiped out.

The spasms weren’t nearly as bad until I got home, and then I had difficulty keeping the second medication in for the full 2 hours. When that happens I feel as if I’ve failed, even though the nurses assure me it’s difficult and hardly anyone is successful in doing so every week. But I let it weigh on me.

Cheryl also reminded me that the they are confident they removed all the cancer, and this is just taking extra caution. Still, it’s difficult to leave it at that. I don’t want it returning, I want it dead and gone.

It’s a struggle, but thankfully there’s only one more to go now.
