Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 120
A song of ascents.
1 I call on the Lord in my distress,
and he answers me.
2 Save me, Lord,
from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues.
3 What will he do to you,
and what more besides,
you deceitful tongue?
4 He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows,
with burning coals of the broom bush.
5 Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek,
that I live among the tents of Kedar!
6 Too long have I lived
among those who hate peace.
7 I am for peace;
but when I speak, they are for war.
Continued prayer covering over you Aj…..may this weekend be one of deep satisfying exhales! With no pain! ♥️

I’ll be live on stage at 9:15 talking about the life of David. I had SO many interesting conversations yesterday!
But I’ll take prayers!

AJ, keeping you in prayer regularly.
M, praying before your talk.
The baby robins I mentioned last week have all flown the nest now! 6th Arrow reported that she saw one of the babies standing in the nest yesterday afternoon, looking ready and raring to go. 🙂 Thanks for your prayers for those fledglings!

So the cat has been set free?

We had baby robins flee the nest recently, too. I missed when they left but have watched before. It was fun to see how the mama waited for them and encouraged them to get to the wooded area. It was also fun to see how each seemed to have to screw up their courage to make that jump out of the nest. They look so uncomfortable when they are really too big for the nest and crowding each other out. God’s purpose for the size of the nest. Just think of all those small calculations! And some think it all just happened? Such a foolish belief! PTL!

The cat has been liberated. Her first freedom excursion was to climb onto the front porch roof, and from there to the peak of the house roof to survey her kingdom she was prevented from ruling the past week. 🙂

Cats have amazing — scary-good — memories.

You remember the Idaho rodeo rider who was in the awful accident?
While my husband and I drank our dinner milkshakes in the Nevada casino lobby last night, she recognized us and walked up to introduced herself (because we didn’t recognize her)!
I was so surprised, I jumped up, hugged her, and kissed her!
She was on her way to our town with her ID grandmother to see her CA grandparents!
She’s doing great! The injuries healed with little long-term repercussions!
The ID grandmother said it was a miracle the way she hit—and that she was more horrified than the girl—who had no memory of it.
We did pray for residual back pain and off they went (they were at the hotel for the night).
I spent the rest of the night marveling and praising God at the whole encounter!

God is good.
It will be my farewell at church this morning. They had me write a brief message.

Wisdom would be good. I had told the children I would plan to take them to the circus this afternoon. Heavy rains and high winds expected. The drive to the town involves the grade which has been having mudslides the past two weeks (we have seen the signs of cleanup on the way to karate). Not sure it is a good day to be driving down there or up again. The other option has been closed for mudslides more frequently. I am not such a good dad.

Prayers for wisdom, Mumsee. Prayers for AJ. I have another AJ to pray for through church, too. Praise that God is on His throne over all. Praise for protection of baby animals surviving against predators. Prayers for Jo’s safety in long travel mode. Praise for the blessings to be received and shared from Michelle’s talk.
