It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajissun and the folks in The Gambia.
Anyone else?
Psalm 39
A psalm of David.
1 I said, “I will watch my ways
and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth
while in the presence of the wicked.”
2 So I remained utterly silent,
not even saying anything good.
But my anguish increased;
3 my heart grew hot within me.
While I meditated, the fire burned;
then I spoke with my tongue:
4 “Show me, Lord, my life’s end
and the number of my days;
let me know how fleeting my life is.
5 You have made my days a mere handbreadth;
the span of my years is as nothing before you.
Everyone is but a breath,
even those who seem secure.
6 “Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom;
in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth
without knowing whose it will finally be.
7 “But now, Lord, what do I look for?
My hope is in you.
8 Save me from all my transgressions;
do not make me the scorn of fools.
9 I was silent; I would not open my mouth,
for you are the one who has done this.
10 Remove your scourge from me;
I am overcome by the blow of your hand.
11 When you rebuke and discipline anyone for their sin,
you consume their wealth like a moth—
surely everyone is but a breath.
12 “Hear my prayer, Lord,
listen to my cry for help;
do not be deaf to my weeping.
I dwell with you as a foreigner,
a stranger, as all my ancestors were.
13 Look away from me, that I may enjoy life again
before I depart and am no more.”
Keeping rkessler in prayer, as well as others.

Please pray for our relative with mental health issues. He decided to go off some meds and is not doing well. My husband is going to take him in as soon as he can get there.

My Aunt Teenie lost her son yesterday. She is 80 and recently had hip replacement so travel is out of the question.

Oldest daughter needs wisdom. She had melanoma removed from her face, with clear margins. But they would like to do a sentinel lymph tests and biopsy of said lymph nodes. But there are risks involved with disturbing lymph nodes. Weighing. Prayers for wisdom. Thoughts?

Prayers, Mumsee. I have no thoughts to share on that.
I got to go down to the office today with my friend from church who got her taxes done. While there I met the nicest ladies who were God’s provision after much prayer for Art to have workers for the season.
Kare, Wesley had asthma when quite young. Salmon is a help with inflamation in the lungs/airways if it is a possible food choice.

Our relative has gotten the help he needs for now. It will take a few days for him to adjust to his meds again. He realizes he was foolish to have gone off of them. We are blessed to have a place he can stay at and have some help and supervision. I am not sure why he decided to that God had cured him, and he could go off them. I do hope it was not some well-meaning person telling him “If you have faith” or some such. People who would never tell someone to just go cold turkey off insulin or another drug will still do it for drugs for mental illnesses. It can be deadly.
