It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 20
A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call!
Thanking God for prayer warriors and partners. What a blessing!

Yes indeed! Asking the Lord to direct husband with medical concerns. He was told he should not run but where is he? Running. He needs to call back and make that appt with cardiologist and is procrastinating … they called yesterday while he was out…where? …. Running! Wisdom…. I love him and he is making me a bit crazy …. And still no one is to know ….

I have seen definite answers to prayer lately so keep praying Prayer Warriors!!!
If only husbands would do what we say/ask/plead to keep them healthier!
I was thinking on Ginger K this morning while washing dishes and wondering since I had heard no more. So many people prayed for her survival and recovery, but God had that perfect place prepared for her to go to with Him.
We are having the most beautiful February, PTL!
Sorry to hear of the melanoma, Mumsee. I hope it will be easy enough to treat at this stage.🙏

NancyJill – Is your husband open to truly listening to you and your concerns? (I ask that because, sadly, not all husbands are open to their wives’ concerns.) Not listening to a doctor’s advice can sometimes have tragic consequences. Praying that he will listen to your wisdom and be given wisdom himself in this situation. (And for healing, too, of course!)

The interesting thing about my husband is that he is the most athletic, health conscious person I know. He is always on the go, he runs 100 mile races, runs every day for 10-12 miles and he is the least sedentary person I know. Always on the go. He hates going to the doctor…and now he must. He says he feels better on his runs and hikes than he has ever felt!
The retest of the blood sample came back today and was the same…so now he is facing going to another specialist for another concern…he was told it could be such and such…or it could be C…. 😢…thank you for your prayer covering…and I know he wouldn’t mind that I have asked for prayer…he just asked me not let on during prayer request moments at Bible study, church and not to let family and friends we have know until we know…then we will go from there…of course I am asking the Lord to heal my husband of whatever is happening….but thy will be done Lord…..for Your glory….in Him we trust….

And I know how much it costs our hearts to truly say “Thy will be done” in this kind of situation. But it really is the very best prayer.

Praying Nancyjill, mumsee, M.
It was wrong, I know, but I kind of had to laugh at the husband who was out running when the doctor, who had told him not to go running, called. We are strong-willed creatures, all of us, in different ways.

Prayer here. The usual. And once again, I thought she would stop. But I was wrong.
