It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8 Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Praying for husband today, as he takes all to speech and then shopping. They wore him out with karate last night. Just with their talking during the car rides.

I’d just like to comment that it took one of my most brilliant male family members months to feel like he had his brain back after COVID.
Several family members expressed concern to me that they feared he was losing it. I only talked with him on the phone but wondered, too, what was going on as he made significant and irreparable business changes in the months after recovering.
Six months later, he told me that in looking back, he didn’t think he was thinking clearly.
Great.
It all seems to have worked out, but I’d keep a close eye on your guy and encourage him to rest as much as possible.

I do. But last night, he stayed up until nearly three watching auditions to Britains got talent or whatever, knowing he needed to be up at six to drive people to speech.
Thanks for the heads up, I will talk with him about it.

Hip Update: Thank you for your prayers. My hip turned the corner towards healing yesterday and is feeling much better. Still not all healed, with still some twinges of pain, and I have to be careful, but much better than it was at its worst. I am very relieved.

My own brain is not doing that well either. I have been debating the drive up to Moscow but dizziness has won out.

Please pray for our old friend MakeItman. He recently lost a dear friend, and has had some very difficult things going on in his life, so he is grieving deeply.
