Prayer Requests 1-19-22

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajissun and the folks in The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord.

   Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
    praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing,
    praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

   Praise the Lord.

  1. Please send up a prayer for my husband. He has suffered for decades from intestinal issues. Today he is supposed to jam, so really needs to get there. Thanks.

  2. Asking prayer for mine. He seems to be over the sickness but is not right yet. He feels like his brain is not working. Not like the fog we had last time but still not right.

    And praise that we heard back from a facility with a positive message. Waiting to hear if they are willing to take her.

  4. Amen

    And our church member, Aaron, who was hospitalized w/Covid pneumonia and appeared destined for a ventilator, continues to improve with other oxygen treatments. There’s a ways to go, but things look much better than they did a couple days ago.

    I was so glad to see that email early this morning — such a hard time we all are going through, and these victories are heartening. Thank you, Lord.

  5. Thank you for praying for my hip. It seems to have turned the corner and is starting to be less painful. Please pray that I don’t do something to re-injure it. (From prior experience, I know that that is so easy to do before it has fully healed.)

  6. Thanks for the prayer. He was able to play music. We had a bigger audience than I thought we would with the cold and slippery roads. Two other musicians (one still testing positive for Covid) were missing, so he was really needed.

  7. Placement: the file was accepted and is being passed around through the staff to see if they think she is a good fit. Hoping to hear soon but in reality it will probably be a few days. Then husband will run down and take a look to see if that is what we want for her. Then, I don’t know. Maybe they do a trial visit? Maybe just toss her in and see what happens? I vote for that. She has what is called borderline personality disorder so she idolizes somebody for a while, then will turn on them and hate them. She has done it over and over. I am the only one she has done it to that has stuck it out in her life. And one social worker who works with me on the side. And daughter clearly loves/hates me. So, I am certain she will do the same with this facility. Perhaps there will be enough people for her to burn through and then start over again? God knows.
