Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 148
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
praise him in the heights above.
2 Praise him, all his angels;
praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
3 Praise him, sun and moon;
praise him, all you shining stars.
4 Praise him, you highest heavens
and you waters above the skies.
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for at his command they were created,
6 and he established them for ever and ever—
he issued a decree that will never pass away.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
8 lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
stormy winds that do his bidding,
9 you mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals and all cattle,
small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings of the earth and all nations,
you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and women,
old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for his name alone is exalted;
his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,
the praise of all his faithful servants,
of Israel, the people close to his heart.
Praise the Lord.
Just wanted to share an update with you all.
Miguel was released from the rehab center and returned home on Friday. His GrandMa is staying with him and he will have a nurse come in for a few hours everyday to continue his therapy/rehab.
Sadly, he must wait until this week to see his daughter Amelia because she was exposed to Covid and is quarantined with her GrandMa.
Thanks for all your prayers. 🙂

AJj, Returning home is indeed something to praise the Lord about! God is so good in so many ways.
I am asking for prayer for our household as Dad has tested positive for covid again. The symptoms are different this time–sore throat, hoarse, sinus congestion and headache along with an infrequent cough. They said it sounds like the new variant. He is having to quarantine in his portion of the house, and that alone is hard on him. He’s feeling perkier than yesterday and really wanted to go out today for a ‘prayer walk’ . He was a little downcast when I put the brakes on that idea (it’s very cold and there is ice on the windshield!). He’s so good natured I really feel bad for him.
I will be tested at my work clinic today, and if I’m positive Cyrus will test immediately. He has no symptoms and we’re praying it stays that way.

Sounds like what we had though we did not test. And what daughter and fam had and they did.
Praying.
And praising, the real, as God continues to work through the heaviness of this life to bring His people to Himself.

Oh, Lord, You are fully aware of the progression of healing in each of these households. Thank You for being our Jehovah Rapha, always near to hear our cries out to You. Please continue to do Your healing work for both the physical and the emotional needs of Miguel and Amelia. Thank You for keeping Debra’s family safe ftom the horrific ravages of Covid they have known before that even in the worst of it You gave miracles of recovery . . . still we lift praises to You for that answered prayer. I pray You are mending the broken-heartedness in Miguel and bringing him to perfect faith in You. Thank You for blessing us all with AJ’s daily diligence to post here so we can all share concerns and know everything will be lifted to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen

Please pray that the tendonitis in my right hip will heal soon. Thank you.

For some reason, I am prone to tendonitis in my shoulders and hips every now and then.
I’ve had it in my elbows in the past, but now it occurs in my shoulders and hips, but fortunately not very often (and only one joint at a time, not both at once). I should probably pay attention to how often. I also should get back to doing some stretching and strengthening exercises, which supposedly can help prevent tendonitis.
As for my beginning, “For some reason. . .”, I have read that many of us in the Moebius community are prone to tendonitis. Although I have written about the effects on our faces, there are other seemingly unrelated things that are indeed related to Moebius. Some people have missing fingers or none at all, and some are born with club feet. Poland Syndrome (missing or underdeveloped chest muscles, usually only on one side) often goes along with Moebius. And I know that I have mentioned dizziness, occasional fainting, and bad balance are also related (and I have dealt with those as well).

Thank you!
Another interesting thing about those of us with Moebius is that many of us have what I have dubbed the “Moebius Nose”, which is a unique shape not related to our parents’ noses. I really wonder about that. 🙂
I always knew that my nose shape was different and a little strange. Then when I was in my early 40s, I started to get involved with the Moebius community online. As I started seeing photos of my fellow “Moebians” (as some of us call ourselves 🙂 ), I was surprised to see the resemblance in our noses! (Not everyone has it, but a lot do, maybe the majority of us.) Isn’t that strange and interesting?
Nightingale’s nose is the female version of my dad’s, so I assume that mine would have been like that if I didn’t have Moebius.

That is fascinating, Kizzie. I never noticed your nose in photos to see how it is different. I hope the structure does not cause difficulty in breathing.

Nope. No breathing problems, thankfully.

A little while ago, I aggravated my hip, and now it is hurting worse. From experience, I know that it can be a fairly longish healing process (several days or more), and that it is too easy to aggravate it and set the healing back a few days. Unfortunately, what I did to aggravate it is something that has to be done a few times each day. (Or several when you are an older woman like me.)
Any guesses as to what I am talking about? 😀
*******
Writing about the danger of aggravating the hip reminds me of when I was just starting to get over a particularly painful case a few years ago. I was so relieved that it was finally on the mend. Then one evening I did something without thinking (quickly lifting my right foot up to my left knee to pull on my slipper) that re-injured it worse than the original time. I was so mad at myself!

Just got word that one of our very loved and faithful church members, probably in his 50s now but with some lifelong physical issues, now has Covid pneumonia and will be placed on a ventilator. His mom was recently diagnosed with non-smokers lunch cancer, stage 4.
Pray for Aaron.

thank you.
there was an update later today which sounds encouraging
~ (His sister) sounds much more positive after speaking with his tending nurse. He is on a high flow oxygen treatment at the moment and his o2 is at 94, but it should be at 100 while on that treatment. It was at 70 without treatment. So his lungs need some healing. Aaron is trying to check himself out telling the doc he’s fine so there’s that 😊. He also had very high blood sugar so that is being treated as well. There is an intermediate treatment that is not a ventilator that would be the next thing to try but she felt like things were improving ~

So glad to hear the good report on the accident survivors.
Prayers for Debra and her crew to continue with recovery and to keep her safe from spreading it to Cyrus.
