We are a week into the new year. I reflect on the past year, which was a hard one for us all the way around. I think we are all in a better place. My girls all had a rough year, but they also have ended up in a better place spiritually, emotionally, and financially.
I am so thankful for God and his abundant mercy to us each and every day.
It is difficult to watch others (especially our own children, adult or otherwise) go through the rough times. Yet, we can look back in our own lives and realize how much we grew spiritually in those times. That is a beautiful reminder, rkessler.

I found that I am driving a Toyota Land Cruiser. very fancy for me.
Now I have to learn how to get in with a bum leg. It is high and I have to use my left leg to get in on the right side.
