Prayer Requests 12-14-21

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 126

A song of ascents.

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.

Restore our fortunes, Lord,
    like streams in the Negev.
Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
Those who go out weeping,
    carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with them.

  1. Please pray for Amy and Jeremy again. He returned to the hospital yesterday for poor kidney function. Please pray the his creatinine and BUN return to normal levels. Thank you for your continued prayers for my family. They are much appreciated. Their goal is to be home by Christmas.

  2. Nightingale has today and tomorrow to finish up an especially difficult semester. She has been working so hard, and is now down to the wire to finish up. She told me a couple days ago that she was tempted to take tomorrow off (today is a regular day off), but didn’t want to lose out on a very lucrative bonus that is being offered for nurses to not take time off.

A little while ago, I sent her a text (she’s out somewhere right now) offering to either pay one of the bills that she usually pays for the next couple or three months, to offset the loss of that bonus, or to give her a check for that amount, if she could use the money in hand.

Anyway, please pray that she will finish this semester, with the finals and such, strong and well. And even more importantly, that somehow through this – the stress she is under or my own offer to her – will turn her heart to God. Thank you.
