  1. Looking for border numbers?

Look for the Friday news dump, where all bad news goes to die over the long weekend with no coverage.

Biden’s invasion of illegals continues unabated.

“The final numbers from September 2021 were released in a Friday afternoon news dump by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The release of the report was later than usual, with the month of October nearly over. September marks the end of the fiscal year.

It’s no wonder that the administration wanted to release the numbers with as little notice as possible. The Biden border crisis continues on the southern border. The numbers are bad, though there was a slight decrease in apprehensions recorded in September. The CBP reports a 9% decrease in unique encounters in September compared to August. But there was a 9% increase of encounters of single adults compared to August.

*The number of unique encounters in September 2021 was 142,710, a 9% reduction in unique encounters from the prior month.

*In total, there were 192,001 encounters along the Southwest border, a 9% decrease compared to August. Of those, 26% involved individuals who had at least one prior encounter in the previous 12 months, compared to an average one-year re-encounter rate of 14% for FY2014-2019.

*Over half (59%) of encounters were single adults, with 113,030 encounters in September, a 9% increase compared to August.

*102,673 encounters, more than 53% of the total, were processed for expulsion under Title 42. 89,238 encounters were processed under Title 8.

*84,911 encounters involving single adults (75% of all single adult encounters) were processed for expulsion under Title 42, with 28,119 processed under Title 8.

*17,599 encounters involving family unit individuals (27% of all family unit individuals) were processed for expulsion under Title 42, with 46,789 processed under Title 8.

CBP reports that because of the large number of expulsions under Title 42, there is a larger number of migrants making multiple attempts at border crossings. The agency claims that the number of unique encounters is overstated because of this. If that is the case, CBP should note that the number is likely understated because of the number of migrants who evade apprehension and simply fade into the interior of the country. Brandon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council made that point this morning on CNN’s Smerconish show. The full picture isn’t painted because the number of those who evade apprehension isn’t included.”

The total number of apprehensions in the fiscal year 2021 was 1,734,686. In comparison, the total number in the fiscal year 2020 was 458,088. The 2021 fiscal year number is the highest ever reached in American history since the data has been recorded. Not a 10 year high, or a 35 year high, as was first reported, but ever. How’s that for a historic marker, Joe? Biden is so quick to brag about claiming his administration is the best at something, to have accomplished historic achievements, yet this is one historic achievement that is not something to brag about. It’s all intentional on Biden’s part, clearly, or the crisis wouldn’t persist. He caved to the open borders progressives a long time ago for political expediency.”

  2. Let’s all keep pretending there’s not a problem, and don’t you dare point it out or the scolds will come for you.

“President Biden’s CNN town hall with Anderson Cooper in Baltimore this past Thursday night should be a source of disquiet and consternation to anyone who cares about the United States. Fielding what must have been screened questions submitted by a friendly invitation-only audience, Biden required a number of clean-ups in aisle 46 back in the White House.

Dominic Green touches on a few particulars in the Spectator column “Biden builds back in the USSR” (my favorite: he couldn’t remember Kyrsten Sinema’s name). Gordon Chang focuses on China in “Joe Biden’s Taiwan Policy Is Now A Total Disaster” (“If there is anything unclear, it is the situation after the clarifications from Biden administration officials: Press Secretary Jen Psaki, State Department spokesperson Ned Price, and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. All of them walked back Biden’s statement to CNN”).

“There is a lot of anxiety people have,” Biden acknowledged, though he fails to account for his contribution to the concerns abroad in the land. He urged us to seek professional help, but the anxiety to which he gives rise is well-founded. It is a function of the reality principle.

Biden’s surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban will haunt us down our days. He has essentially erased our southern border. He has falsely disparaged law enforcement authorities working the border in Texas. He has done what he could to limit energy production. Economic trends are unfavorable. It took Jimmy Carter four years to fail in this fashion, but he had some constructive policies such as airline deregulation to his credit.

The White House has posted a transcript of the CNN production here. I want to highlight two video clips from the event.

In the video below Biden addresses the rising cost of gasoline on his watch. Biden’s response is a bad joke. The New York Post pulls the relevant quotes with a few responses here. Take this to your therapist, if you can afford one:

“The answer ultimately is, ultimately meaning the next three or four years, is investing in renewable energy,” insisted Biden, who also touted the “Big Three” US automakers’ August announcement that electric vehicles will make up between 40 and 50 percent of their sales by 2030.

“So what will happen is, you’re going to see a dramatic drop, a dramatic drop, in what’s gonna happen in terms of gas prices as we go into the next two or three years,” the president promised.

But in the meantime, Biden acknowledged, “it’s gonna be hard. It’s gonna be hard. There’s a possibility to be able to bring it down. It depends on a little bit on Saudi Arabia and a few other things that are in the offing.”

Jimmy Carter, call your old White House office.”

  3. Well look at that.

An NBA player who doesn’t kiss the Chinese leader’s butt.

  4. Let’s hope so.

    Just a reminder…..

“Meet Chesa Boudin. He’s the Bay Area public defender and former shill/translator for the late Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez who plans to turn the craphole of San Francisco into an even bigger sanctuary for the homeless, drug abusers, illegal immigrants, gangsters, vandals, thieves, recidivist criminals and cop-haters than it is already. Boudin leads a spooky field of left-lefter-leftists running for DA on the Nov. 5 ballot.

The cornerstone of Boudin’s campaign is sabotaging immigration enforcement. He has called for prosecution and imprisonment of ICE and police officers for doing their jobs and vowed to create an “immigrant defense unit” within the DA’s office to “stand up to Trump on immigration.”

While American veterans beg for money on San Francisco’s feces-clogged street corners, Boudin will instead subsidize “universal legal representation” for illegal immigrants facing deportation.

While American angel families are denied standing in American courts to sue the sanctuary outlaws whose policies enabled criminals in this country illegally to injure, rape or murder their loved ones, Boudin will “help every single immigrant victim of every crime obtain a U-Visa.”

Boudin’s campaign tagline claims he wants to build a criminal justice system “for everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected.” The chutzpah. It burns.

Well-connected? Boudin has been endorsed by a who’s who of far-left celebrities, from Sanders to Hamas-linked “Women’s March” co-founder Linda Sarsour to Black Lives Matter hate crime hoax propagandist Shaun King to radical Chicago DA and Jussie Smollett fixer Kim Foxx to Black Panther Party commie revolutionary Angela Davis.

Wealthy? Boudin is the top fundraiser in the San Francisco DA’s race, raking in more than $623,000 in donations this year — a significant chunk from out-of-state academics, entertainment industry executives, and East Coast lawyers in New York and D.C. I discovered from Boudin’s most recent campaign finance disclosures that one of his top donors is Chloe Cockburn. She is a prominent partner of globalist billionaire George Soros’ Democracy Alliance. Cockburn moderated a crucial 2017 summit with Soros and other deep-pocketed liberal philanthropists to strategize on taking over local and state offices to reclaim “our progressive future.” Other bigwig Boudin donors hail from the Soros-allied Tides Foundation and Soros-funded Brennan Center for Justice.

What makes Boudin especially toxic is his family tree. Boudin is the militant offspring of spoiled-rich radicals Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, members of the violent Weather Underground terrorist group, which bombed government buildings and corporate headquarters, aided convicted felons in jailbreaks and participated in a 1981 Brink’s armored car holdup in Nyack, New York, with the Black Liberation Army. That crime took the lives of three innocent Americans — police officers Edward O’Grady and Waverly Brown and private security guard Peter Paige.”

If SanFran voters weren’t idiots this clown would never have been elected.

  7. Don’t go away mad, just go away perv.

He might be safer, the general public will definitely be safer if this clown is confined, preferably with the other offenders.

  9. We have the problem of having someone responsible who is not capable of doing the job.
We knew that from the beginning, but is handlers kept him up. But that doesn’t last long.

“President Joe Biden decamped to Wilmington on Friday, escaping the White House he’s likened to a “gilded cage” for a weekend at his Delaware home. It’s yet another weekend away from Washington as the President has spent a noteworthy portion of his first year in office at one of his two Delaware homes or at Camp David, working remotely.

A CNN analysis of Biden’s public schedule indicates the President has spent a significant amount of time away from the White House, particularly on weekends, since his January inauguration. Including this weekend’s trip to Delaware, Biden has taken 35 personal trips and spent all or part of 108 of his first 276 days in office at one of his Delaware homes or at Camp David in Maryland. That includes partial days, like Friday — when he spent the day at the White House and departed in the evening.

Sixty-nine of those 108 days away from Washington were spent at his home in Wilmington, spread over 23 visits; seven days at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, beach house over two visits; and 32 days at Camp David over 10 visits.

That puts Biden ahead of the pace set by former President Donald Trump, who had spent less time at his Florida and New Jersey getaways at the same point in his presidency than Biden has spent in Delaware.

While most presidents have prioritized taking time away from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, this is the most time a president has spent away from the White House on personal travel at this point in the presidency in recent history.”

  13. The YouTube censors will be displeased….. 😂🤣😂🤣
