  1. The weaponization of govt agencies under Democrat rule continues.

So glad this 🤡 never made it to the Supreme Court. 🙂

  2. Because there are no threats. This is just the false pretense they’re using. They’re lying again, gaslighting, if you prefer….

“AG Garland Weaponizes FBI Against Parents Protesting Critical Race Theory, Mask Mandates

Garland mentions threats, but does not mention anything specific in the press release.”

“AG Garland has told the FBI and US Attorneys’ Offices to meet and “strategize” on ways to deal with parents who have the nerve to protest critical race theory. Actually, they want to figure out how to deal with parents who have the nerve to be involved in their child’s education.

    How dare they!

The DOJ said: “Citing an increase in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence against school board members, teachers and workers in our nation’s public schools, today Attorney General Merrick B. Garland directed the FBI and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices to meet in the next 30 days with federal, state, Tribal, territorial and local law enforcement leaders to discuss strategies for addressing this disturbing trend. These sessions will open dedicated lines of communication for threat reporting, assessment and response by law enforcement.”

The “task force” includes everything except the kitchen sink:

    Criminal Division
    National Security Division
    Civil Rights Division
    Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys
    Community Relations service
    Office of Justice Programs

The federal government is involving the Criminal Division and National Security Division to handle those pesky parents.”

The press release and Garland’s memo do not mention a single specific threat. They also did not give examples of harassment or intimidation.

Last Friday, Jeff Reynolds wrote about the National School Boards Association (NSBA) asking for federal intervention because of the protests against critical race theory. They cried about the “immediate threat” posed by so many parents showing up at school board meetings.

The association described the protests as a “form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”

Jeff is 100% correct in his closing paragraph:

The school board and superintendent organizations calling for federal law enforcement appear to be preemptively playing victim here instead of responding to a legitimate threat. Of course, this follows with the Biden administration’s focus on white supremacists as the single greatest terrorist threat the United States faces today. An overblown fear of domestic terrorists makes for a great diversion from the parents across the nation with legitimate questions about what their kids learn at these schools. The NSBA seems to have forgotten that, as elected officials, school board members are not supposed to be the bosses–the parents are.

Rowdy parents. Garland is weaponizing the FBI against “rowdy parents” without providing any proof.”

    These people are a joke.

  3. Meanwhile, while the feds are busy with chasing imaginary boogiemen they made up in their feeble, little minds again….

Actual intimidation and threats…… from the teachers, their union, and administrators pushing this racist trash.

“Ramona Bessinger: I’m A Middle School Teacher Facing Retaliation After Blowing The Whistle On Critical Race Curriculum

After going public about the radicalized and racialized curriculum changes that have increased racial tensions and distorted education, I have been the subject of escalating retaliation, some of which is racially-tinged, from colleagues and administrators.”

“I am a Providence, Rhode Island, public middle school teacher with 22 years experience teaching English at the high school and middle school levels. After blowing the whistle on radicalized and racialized curriculum changes that have increased racial tensions and distorted education, I have been the subject of escalating retaliation, some of which is racially-tinged, from colleagues and administrators.

Background – Why I Spoke Out
Over the past year, I have seen a disturbing and frightening radicalization of the school curriculum, in which race became the central focus, with heavy emphasis on oppressor-oppressed narratives. The result was increased racial tension in school, particularly directed against me as a “white” teacher both from students and other teachers.

I decided to blow the whistle on what was happening, and did so in a column at Legal Insurrection on July 13, 2021, I’m A Middle School Teacher And See How Critical Race Curriculum Is Creating Racial Hostility In School:

In that blog post, I covered what I observed happening in school:”

“The Escalating And Racially-Tinged Retaliation and Hostile Work Environment
After writing the initial blog post, I received a great deal of support from educators and parents all over the world, yet my administration and colleagues in Providence for the most part were radio silent, that is until school started and the silence turned to retaliation.

The first sign of retaliation was evident even before school restarted, when I received by 2021/2022 teaching assignment.. I was pulled from teaching one of my English classes and assigned to teach using CNN news sources, as well as Time for Kids, in a course structured to rely on racialized articles that separate children by the color of their skin. After a lengthy review of the biased articles, I could see the message was clear, like the race-based paperbacks and comics style books, articles in CNN News would be the same.

Everything in school now is about race. During orientation, teacher professional development included a”privilege walk,” in which teachers were requested to talk about our personal bias, to share our personal trauma, and to connect with children on their personal trauma. Much of the bias focus was on race. I declined to participate in the voluntary privilege walk, but observed it. We also were told to be surrogate parents to our students, given lesson plans on Malcolm X, and that discussions around justifiable violence towards white people should be taught to children of color.

On the first day of school during professional development orientation the week August 30th, there was a verbal attack on me in front of other staff by one of my colleagues who shouted at me that I had white privilege. This colleague went on to say that she would teach her students Malcom X’s message to use violence as payback for crimes against slaves. I asked her who the recipient of this Malcolm X style attack would be, and she said everyone who harmed slaves. Since all those people are now dead, clearly the intent was to intimidate me openly at work and to send a message.

During the week of September 13th a student accused me of going on TV to remove “Black books” from school. According to the student, another teacher told him this.

The week of September 20th, my Principal sent me multiple emails during the school day questioning me about my social media posts. He requested a meeting where he grilled me for almost an hour about content in social media posts. At the end of this meeting, he said he would monitor all my social media but was particularly bothered by my posts exposing the harmful racialized curriculum, books and projects. The message to me was and is clear, I am being watched.

Monday September 27th, a colleague demanded a mediation occur to discuss offense she took when I requested to collaborate. Again, multiple emails to me asking me to meet during my lunch, and times that were not possible for me. This teacher would not say what offended her about my request, just that she was demanding a meeting with an administrator present.

On September 29, before a faculty meeting, my Union rep made it a point to say teachers circulated a petition about me. What exactly is in this petition? He would not say. Judicial Watch has served a public records request seeking the petition against me.

That same day, during a faculty meeting while I was sharing reading strategies with co-teachers, a colleague screamed in front of the group that he did not want to hear my “crap” about anything. This outburst was unsettling and obviously related to my speaking out in the media. The faculty member later apologized in passing, citing a “bad day,” but prior to my speaking out about the curriculum, in 22 years a colleague never had a “bad day” that caused them to scream at me this way.

On October 1, a faculty member told me that students were starting to call me racist. The teacher said that when she asked the students why they feel this way, they could not respond.

The administration was well aware of this retaliation and hostility as it was happening. My union also is aware, but I have not confidence the union will stick up for me and protect my rights. So today I formally filed an internal complaint about the retaliation and hostile work environment. I fear that I am being set up for discipline, transfer, or even termination, so I need to go on record and go public.

The Retaliation Is Intended To Silence Me And Others

The impact of all this retaliation has been hard on me personally. I love teaching, and I care about my students and the constant badgering takes precious time away from doing my job. As I watch education transform from a student centered career to a highly racialized, politicized battle ground, I am profoundly sad for all students who are caught in the middle of this hostile environment.”

  4. Blame Soros, he’s the one funding their campaigns for exactly this purpose.

“How Leftist Prosecutors Contributed To 2020’s Massive Crime Spike

Prosecutors across the country have ceased prosecuting certain crimes in the name of racial and economic equity and social justice. This dangerous trend denies justice to victims and increases crime.”

“The number of homicides in the United States increased around 30 percent in 2020 compared to the previous year, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported last week, along with a 5.6 percent increase in violent crime in the same period.”

“This is no wonder, when prosecutors across the country have ceased prosecuting in the name of racial and economic equity. From Los Angeles and San Francisco to the Eastern seaboard, city attorneys are declining to prosecute cases, denying justice to victims, and creating dangerous cities.

Just as critical race theory has bled out of the big cities into small and unsuspecting jurisdictions, so too might prosecutors with visions of “reimagining” the criminal justice system come to a town near you.

    Seattle’s Singularly Extreme Approach
Seattle deserves special recognition for its failure to provide even basic law and order, and things may be about to get worse as the city votes in November for a new city attorney. Responsible for prosecuting misdemeanors, the Seattle City Attorney’s Office has become a leftist experiment lab under Pete Holmes.

In 2019, Holmes’s office “declined to file charges in nearly half of non-traffic-related criminal cases, and of the cases it does charge, 42% did not have a meaningful resolution,” King 5 News reported. By the end of October 2020, his office had declined 143 of the 261 protest-related misdemeanor cases referred by the Seattle Police Department, NPR reported.

Last summer, the life of prolific offender Travis Berge came to a violent end – a tragic example of how Holmes’ leadership failed Berge and continues to fail Seattle. The notorious meth addict, who had boasted openly that he had beat the criminal justice system, had been arrested 47 times, racked up 35 convictions and violations, killed his partner, and then drowned himself in a tank of bleach. Instead of protecting Berge and his victims, the city of Seattle turned a blind eye, resulting in two needless deaths.

The situation in Seattle may soon go from bad to worse, as voters seem poised to replace a non-prosecuting prosecutor with a candidate who has actively encouraged criminal behavior. Holmes, city attorney since 2009, conceded a three-way primary race in August to his competitors: law-and-order moderate candidate Ann Davison and punishment opponent Nicole Thomas-Kennedy.

“I would like to abolish most of the criminal legal system,” Thomas-Kennedy told Fox13, “but it is a process. It doesn’t happen overnight.”

As the city faces a 3,000 municipal court case backlog, Thomas-Kennedy would scale back prosecuting to even greater extremes. The Seattle attorney’s office “should immediately stop prosecuting nearly all misdemeanors – especially ‘civility’ crimes like trespass and petty theft,” she told The Urbanist weeks before the primary.

Worse still, she has made comments that appear to overtly encourage violent and illegal behavior. At the height of the riots following the death of George Floyd in 2020, Thomas-Kennedy tweeted, “Property destruction, at this point, is a moral imperative.” She has since deleted the tweet and, when confronted by a local journalist, waved it off as a joke.

Even traditional liberals see the dangers of electing someone like Thomas-Kennedy. Most recently, two former Democratic governors of Washington State – Christine Gregoire and Gary Locke – endorsed Davison. In a statement about her endorsement of the Republican Davison, Gregoire told Fox13 News that she couldn’t throw her support behind “a person who believes in anarchy” (referencing Thomas-Kennedy).

The dismal reality is that, combined, the non-prosecutor Holmes and the penalty-abolitionist Thomas-Kennedy received more than 66 percent of the Seattle vote. Moderate Davison, who wants to focus instead on enforcing the law and providing alternative support for those suffering from mental illness and drug addiction, received 33 percent. Seattle voters should think long and hard before reflexively supporting Thomas-Kennedy.”

“Guess what else showed up in the reconciliation bill for illegal aliens”

“I suppose we should have seen this one coming, particularly considering the malarkey that the Democrats have been trying to shovel into the so-called reconciliation bill from day one. After failing twice to convince the Senate Parliamentarian to allow some form of general amnesty for illegal aliens as part of what is supposed to be a spending bill, some actual spending has now shown up. Only this facet also represents a significant policy change, and possibly an illegal one at that. Stowed away in the bill is a provision that would allow anyone residing in the United States who provides an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to apply for the Child Tax Credit. Currently, all filers are required to provide a Social Security Number. We’ll get to why the difference is critical in a moment. (Free Beacon)

President Joe Biden’s budget includes a provision that provides billions of dollars in cash to illegal aliens with children.

The $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill extends the Child Tax Credit to anyone in the United States who provides an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, overturning a crucial safeguard against fraud. Federal law required a valid Social Security number to receive the cash transfer from the federal government. The potential payout for illegal immigrants is massive, with each family receiving a monthly payment of $250 to $300 per child.

A survey from the Pew Research Center found that roughly 675,000 children are not eligible for a Social Security number, making the tax credit expansion for illegal aliens cost between $2.025 billion to $2.43 billion a year. Other estimates put the total number of illegal children residing in the United States at more than 800,000.

As you’ve probably gathered by now, this potentially illegal change carries some significant ramifications. Guess what sort of government document illegal aliens (including their children) are unable to obtain. A Social Security Number. But since many of them do manage to somehow file tax returns every year, do you know what sort of identifier they can come up with? An ITIN.

With an ITIN in hand, they would now be able to file for the Child Tax Credit. Each family would be eligible to receive up to $3,600 per year per child. And we’re talking about an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 children.

The reason that SSNs have always been required to apply for federal entitlements of this type was to prevent fraud. Non-citizens are not entitled to receive such benefits. But with one wave of the Democrat magic wand, illegal aliens would be able to sidestep that security measure and run up the government’s bill by a very significant chunk. And if you think that this change just happened to show up in the bill by accident, you’re probably delusional. This was clearly intentional and the reason is obvious.”

“The LUCHA thugs who stalked Senator Sinema into the ladies’ room at Arizona State yesterday were not out to win friends or influence people in the style of Dale Carnegie. In lieu of decency or an argument, they applied time-tested tactics.

At the opening of chapter 4 of Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism (2010), Stanley Kurtz relates a well-sourced story illustrating the precedent for LUCHA’s stalking of Sinema (footnote omitted):

In October 1984, in the midst of his ultimately unsuccessful re-election battle against Democratic challenger Paul Simon, Illinois Republican Senator Charles Percy was cornered and forced to hide in a ladies’ restroom by about a hundred protesters from a group called UNO (United Neighborhood Organization) of Chicago. By trapping Percy in the women’s bathroom, UNO of Chicago successfully disrupted his live appearance on a black radio station, thereby punishing him for his refusal to appear at a UNO forum (which Percy believed had been stacked against him through UNO’s collaboration with Simon). Since UNO’s largely Mexican membership included a substantial group of “undocumented” workers, there is every likelihood that a large number of illegal aliens that were among that crowd running hardball Alinskyite tactics on a U.S. senator.

In those days, UNO’s organizers used to gather at a bar after confrontations like this to laugh about how they’d humiliated one or another public official. There must have been heavy toasting that night.

The chapter thereafter details Obama’s hidden ties to UNO.”

  7. Let’s hope so. 🙂

“Disarray: Will abortion tank the Democrats’ infrastructure reconciliation bill?”

“A noteworthy leftover from yesterday. To give you a sense of how eager Democrats are to expand access to abortion, a few months ago House Dems voted unanimously in favor of a Medicaid bill that would cover the cost of the procedure for the first time in 45 years. The party has been radicalized on this issue and they’re willing to use some of their power to prove it.

Unfortunately for them, the potential 50th vote in the Senate for the reconciliation deal on which Biden’s entire domestic agenda depends happens to be pro-life Joe Manchin.

Will you force House Democrats to pass a version of the Hyde Amendment for the new Medicaid-esque program that’s included in the reconciliation package, NRO asked him a few days ago? Sure will, he replied.

National Review: Senator, you’ve been very firm on keeping the Hyde amendment on the appropriations bills. Are you concerned about that issue at all in reconciliation—

    Manchin: Certainly—

NR: —with this new Medicaid program?

Manchin: Yeah, we’re not taking the Hyde amendment off. Hyde’s going to be on.

NR: In the new Medicaid program?

Manchin: It has to be. It has to be. That’s dead on arrival if that’s gone.

“Dead on arrival” is strong language for the Decider to be using. The new program in the yet-to-be-written bill would extend health coverage to low-income residents in the 12 states that chose not to participate in ObamaCare’s scheme to expand Medicaid a decade ago. Manchin doesn’t want the new program to cover abortions. Is that a dealbreaker for House progressives?

It is for me, said Pramila Jayapal, head of the House progressive caucus, to CNN yesterday:

Dana Bash: “Can you vote for a bill that has the Hyde Amendment in it?”

    Pramila Jayapal: “No.” pic.twitter.com/WBJJoEFvUM

    — Justin Baragona (@justinbaragona) October 3, 2021

Pelosi has a margin of three votes on the reconciliation bill. It’s all but guaranteed that the Squad, at least, will support Jayapal in voting no on the bill unless it funds abortion in the new Medicaid-style program. That means Pelosi can’t get to 218, as there are sure to be no Republican votes for the reconciliation package.

Either Manchin has to cave or House lefties have to cave. And if both refuse, reconciliation is dead.”

I don’t care how you do it, just kill it!

  8. Still think govts are being honest about the origins of Covid in a Chinese lab?

Then you’re not thinking at all. Why all the redactions? What are they hiding?

“Govt Provides Nearly Blacked Out Emails on Secret Covid Origin Teleconference

Blackened emails returned to UK’s Daily Mail make the case these “experts” are hiding something about coronavirus origins.”

“Legal Insurrection readers may recall that House Republicans demanded answers about the “dramatic change” in how top scientists first talked about the coronavirus in July.

The representatives noted that initial discussions included assessments that SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) had features that “(potentially) look engineered” to calling it a “crackpot theory” a few days later. They focused specifically on a still-secretive teleconference call with Dr. Anthony Fauci and other scientists.

Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, and Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, the top GOP member on House Oversight, sent a letter to Kristian Andersen, a professor of immunology at Scripps Research, asking him “to brief the committees about gain-of-function research conducted at the Wuhan lab and the possibility COVID-19 was engineered to be more contagious.”

Jordan and Comer wrote: “On the evening of February 1, 2020, you and several other international virologists participated in a conference call with Dr. Fauci. The American public does not know what happened on this call, as all emails pertaining to the content of the discussion have been redacted. But we do know what happened after.”

The Republicans pointed out that on Feb. 4, 2020, Andersen sent a letter to EcoHealth Alliance’s Peter Daszak, saying: “The main crackpot theories going around at the moment relate to this virus being somehow engineered with intent and that is demonstrably not the case. Engineering can mean many things and could be done for either basic research or nefarious reasons, but the data conclusively show that neither was done.”

The Republicans said: “In three days, with no explanation as to why, you flipped your perspective entirely and began calling a theory you lent credence to only days earlier a ‘crackpot theory.’ It would appear the primary intervening event was the February 1, 2020 conference call with Dr. Fauci.

The Daily Mail used the Freedom of Information rules to obtain a cache of 32 emails about the secretive teleconference between British and American health officials. The returned documents were almost completely blacked out.”

And once again, the foreign media does what the trash US media won’t, which is actually try to get answers.

  9. “The four states which follow Vermont in terms of the highest vaccination rates in the nation are also experiencing alarming signs.”

    As predicted.

No injections and the virus leaks out slowly, mass injections and the virus picks up steam.

“Vermont, the state with the highest vaccination rate in the United States, is experiencing a CCP virus surge at levels not seen since the pandemic’s peak last winter.

The number of cases in Vermont is at a record level, hospitalizations are close to the records notched last winter, and the state recorded the deadliest day and the second deadliest month of the pandemic in September.

“I think it’s clearly frustrating for all of us,” Michael Pieciak, the commissioner of the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation who monitors CCP virus statistics for the state.

More than 69 percent of Vermont’s population has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sept. 24, according to the CDC, far above the national rate of 56 percent.”

  10. Move along….. nothing to see here…..

“Orders for PCR tests surged in China’s Hubei province in mid-2019”

“Just another coincidence or is there a reason for this? Several news outlets are reporting on the results of an investigation by an Australian cybersecurity company which studied records of government purchases and found that China’s Hubei province, whose capital is Wuhan, increased its orders for PCR tests in mid-2019:

The data, compiled by Australian cybersecurity outfit, Internet 2.0, showed that the sale of polymerase chain reaction tests — used to detect the presence of specific viruses — jumped to 67.4 million yuan ($14.3 million) in 2019, from 36.7 million yuan in 2018, and 29.1 million in 2017.

“We have come to the conclusion that based on the data analysed it suggests the virus was highly likely to be spreading virulently in Wuhan, China as early as the summer of 2019 and definitely by the early Autumn,” the report states.

Internet 2.0’s analysis of the data gets even more specific. They not only know when the surge of spending began, they know who was buying, including the Chinese CDC and the PLA:

Orders doubled from universities, jumped fivefold from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and surged tenfold from animal testing bureaus. Purchases from hospitals declined by more than 10%.

Monthly procurement data shows a spike in orders in May, especially from CDC buyers and the People’s Liberation Army.

“We believe the increased spending in May suggests this as the earliest start date for possible infection,” the report said.

Purchases rose sharply from July through October as well, in particular from the Wuhan University of Science and Technology. The institution spent 8.92 million yuan on PCR tests in 2019, about eight times its total for the previous year.

However, what we don’t know is why this sudden uptick happened. PCR tests can be used to identify a wide variety of pathogens. The Sydney Morning Herald notes that China had an outbreak of African swine fever in 2019 which infects pigs but not people. Still, that outbreak was expected to cut pork production by as much as 30% which amounts to as many as 200 million pigs. Maybe that’s what drove the interest in PCR equipment?”

    Let’s see….

They’ve blamed bats, pangolins, birds for Covid, and now pigs for this too….

  11. Anybody smell a cover-up?

“Facebook on Monday blamed the widespread outage across a suite of its social media and messaging services on faulty configuration changes on its routers.

“Our engineering teams have learned that configuration changes on the backbone routers that coordinate network traffic between our data centers caused issues that interrupted this communication,” Facebook said in a blog post of the global outage on Monday.

The Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp apps, all owned by Facebook, went offline for nearly six hours before some of them were restored. According to an outside trafficking firm, the outage appears to have been the most widespread in the company’s history, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Facebook apologized in its statement on Monday, saying that the underlying cause of the outage impacted many of the internal tools and systems it uses in its day-to-day operations, “complicating our attempts to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem.””
