It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 56
1 Be merciful to me, my God,
for my enemies are in hot pursuit;
all day long they press their attack.
2 My adversaries pursue me all day long;
in their pride many are attacking me.
3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
5 All day long they twist my words;
all their schemes are for my ruin.
6 They conspire, they lurk,
they watch my steps,
hoping to take my life.
7 Because of their wickedness do not let them escape;
in your anger, God, bring the nations down.
8 Record my misery;
list my tears on your scroll—
are they not in your record?
9 Then my enemies will turn back
when I call for help.
By this I will know that God is for me.
10 In God, whose word I praise,
in the Lord, whose word I praise—
11 in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can man do to me?
12 I am under vows to you, my God;
I will present my thank offerings to you.
13 For you have delivered me from death
and my feet from stumbling,
that I may walk before God
in the light of life.
Prayer here. Blood pressure is way up again. Don’t know if it is daughter related or vaccine related.
We cleaned her room, at her request. When she returned, she was screaming that she does not deserve to have people be kind to her as she was trashing the room again. Every item of clothing that we had washed and hung up was thrown on the floor, all the colored pencils that we had put in her coloring jars was tossed, all the stuffed animals in her guinea pig zoo, etc. So, when she went to speech therapy this morning, I did it again. I will be gone to Moscow, hopefully, when she returns so won’t have to deal with the fallout. Meanwhile, need to get this bp down before I have a stroke or something.

I had not thought of vaccine related bp elevation. One thing I have noticed is being more sensitive to caffiene in coffee. It gives me a more jittery feeling reminding me of that internal shaky feeling I had while sick from the vaccine. I have actually been considering removing coffee from my diet. I tried cutting to one cup but may decide to use tea except for special occasions. I dix noyf make coffee this a.m. since I did not drink all I made yesterday and it seems a waste.
I need to check my bp. More exercise always helps that in addition to diet.

I have been walking. Yesterday I used the recumbent bike. And did lots of stairs as I was cleaning out books and taking them back up to the old school room. I don’t think my eating has changed much though I have increased desserts. But weight remains the same. Baffling.

I cut my coffee to one cup in the morning except for a rare occasion. GERD was why, however, not the jitters. I believe it does help, but I sure miss it. I will drink hot herbal tea as a substitute. Blueberry is a favorite, but I vary it.

Just popping online to check email and such. Yesterday was really bad. I’m pretty sure that this was a case of tendonitis in my neck, not merely a strained muscle. The muscle relaxer that I took did not help, whereas it has helped in the past with a strained muscle. Ibuprofen seems to be making a better difference today.
Still can only turn my head a couple inches in either direction, but my up-and-down movement is improving, and the feeling that my head is too heavy to hold on my neck has gone away. So progress is being made, which is encouraging. 🙂
For some reason, I am prone to occasional attacks of tendonitis. Throughout the years, I have had it in each of my elbows more than once, in each of my shoulders more than once, and in each of my hips (more than once on one side, not sure about the other). And now in my neck.
