  2. Nothing to see here, just the NSA spying on and unmasking Americans who dare speak against again.

    Obama taught them well.

“It’s Official: The NSA Unmasked Tucker Carlson”

“Three weeks after Fox News host Tucker Carlson accused the National Security Agency of reading his communications, the agency has confirmed he was unmasked.

“The nation’s top electronic spy agency found that Carlson was mentioned in communications between third parties and his name was subsequently revealed through ‘unmasking,’ a process in which relevant government officials can request the identities of American citizens in intelligence reports to be divulged provided there is an official reason, such as helping them make sense of the intelligence documents they are reviewing,” the Record reports. ”

  3. Remember this when they start their Jan6 witch hunt….

And this is supported across party and racial lines.

“More Voters Want Congress to Probe BLM Riots Than Jan. 6

Over 60% of people in every racial group prefer the BLM investigation.”

“A Rasmussen survey revealed 66% of the voters want Congress to investigate the Black Lives Matter riots in 2020 instead of the Capitol Hill riot on January 6th:

A new national telephone and online survey by the National Police Association and Rasmussen Reports finds that 66% of Likely U.S. Voters think Congress should investigate last year’s violent protests, in which more than 2,000 police officers suffered injuries in the line of duty. Twenty-one percent (21%) don’t think Congress should investigate last year’s protests, and 13% were not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey found strong voter support for law enforcement on issues ranging from display of the “Thin Blue Line” flag to prosecution of so-called “quality of life” crimes.

Over 60% of people in every racial group prefer the BLM investigation:

    67% of whites
    64% of blacks
    66% of Hispanics
    62% of other minorities
Riots occurred across America after George Floyd’s death in May 2020. The Major Cities Chiefs Association reviewed data from those riots:

In total, there were 8,700 protests that took place in most major cities between May 25th and July 31st, 2020. While the vast majority of these protests were peaceful, a large portion did include non-violent acts of civil disobedience such as the takeover of a roadway or disruption of commerce. Additionally, there were 574 protests that involved acts of violence, some of which were severe. This violence was limited to only 7% of all protests and in most cases, the acts were perpetrated by individuals or small groups that infiltrated the larger protests. Nonetheless, the sheer volume of protests, combined with the level of civil disobedience and existence of some ultra-violent events, created an extraordinarily challenging environment for law enforcement agencies

The National Police Association (NPA) embraced the Rasmussen survey and lashed out at the mayors:”

But they’re busy chasing GrandMa and Lego aficionados down for real work.

  5. First it was Covid, then Cicadas, then monkey pox……

Next up on the Wheel of Apocalypse…..

    Superbug fungus…..

“‘Superbug’ Fungus Spreading in D.C. and Dallas Healthcare Facilities

“‘This is really the first time we’ve started seeing clustering of resistance’ in which patients seemed to be getting the infections from each other.””

“In 2016, I blogged that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported the first cases of a drug-resistant and potentially fatal fungal infection have occurred within the United States.

The fungus, Candida auris (C. auris), is known to occur in health care settings such as hospitals and nursing homes. Then, in the spring of 2019, I noted that the CDC warned of the ‘superbug’ fungus sickening hundreds across the country.

The agency said the fungus is spreading in two of the nation’s top cities: Washington, D.C., and Dallas, TX.

The “superbug” outbreaks were reported in a Washington, D.C, nursing home and at two Dallas-area hospitals, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported. A handful of the patients had invasive fungal infections that were impervious to all three major classes of medications.

“This is really the first time we’ve started seeing clustering of resistance” in which patients seemed to be getting the infections from each other, said the CDC’s Dr. Meghan Lyman.

The fungus, Candida auris, is a harmful form of yeast that is considered dangerous to hospital and nursing home patients with serious medical problems. It is most deadly when it enters the bloodstream, heart or brain. Outbreaks in health care facilities have been spurred when the fungus spread through patient contact or on contaminated surfaces.

Candida auris is deadly if it enters the bloodstream, heart, or brain. It can spread through patient contact or contaminated surfaces.”

  6. (Insert favorite adjective here) for brains is sinking.

But half the country are still falling for his kindly, elderly nursing home patient act.

“Biden Approval Drops to 50%, Lowest for Him to Date”

“President Joe Biden’s latest job approval rating of 50% is down from 56% in June. Before this month, his ratings had not shown meaningful variation during his time in office, and the current figure marks the lowest measured for him to date.”

  7. The censorship of alternatives actually goes against everything that the USA is all about…

If we were to truly follow the science, then HCQ and Ivermectin, which have both proven to be almost 100% effective in curing COVID-19, would be used and made freely available and this whole nightmare would be over. However, it isn’t about science or saving lives – it’s about conformity and control, and corporate greed. Control is of course one of the key elements for establishing communism and authoritarianism. And when corporations put money ahead of human lives, it’s just plain evil.

“In an effort to help end the pandemic, an international coalition of medical experts is holding worldwide events Saturday to raise awareness about the effectiveness of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.

Organizers of the World Ivermectin Day say doctors and supporters of the inexpensive FDA-approved drug will host free online and public events in over a dozen countries.

Two nonprofits—Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance and the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD) group—who have been campaigning for the off-label use of ivermectin to prevent and treat COVID-19 say the event’s focus is to let more people know that the antiparasitic drug can treat COVID-19, possibly end the pandemic, and help eliminate fear of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

“We have an incredibly positive and uplifting message to share: ivermectin treats and prevents COVID and it is the key to unlocking the never-ending cycle of pandemic peaks and personal restrictions and will help restart economies,” Dr. Tess Lawrie, cofounder of the BIRD group said in a press release.

Lawrie is also a co-author of a peer-reviewed meta-analysis study published in the American Journal of Therapeutics that found ivermectin to be effective against COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP virus. Lawrie and her team concluded with a moderate level of confidence that ivermectin reduced the risk of death by an average of 62 percent, at a 95 percent confidence interval of 0.19-0.73, especially when prescribed early.

FLCCC Alliance also conducted their own review of 18 randomized controlled trials on COVID-19 treatment with ivermectin. They found “large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance.” The authors also said that studies on the prevention of COVID-19 reported significantly reduced risks of the disease with regular use of the drug.”

  8. This whole piece by Marvin Olasky is not relevant to anything in particular in the news, but this paragraph near the end – one of the three ways in which the World Journalism Institute “opposes overall journalistic trends” – expresses something I have been thinking:

“Second, we take seriously Jesus’ teaching, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” When the Bible is clear, we take a stand, as we have done on abortion, evolution, LGBT trends, and many other issues—including Bible translation itself. But even on such questions we try to avoid ramping up resentment. That goes against the prevailing school of journalistic marketing and its two-word formula: anger sells.”

So much writing these days, on both left and right, stirs up anger and resentment in their readers. 😦 It’s something to watch out for.

  9. Rasmussen is well known for a right wing slant to their polls and given the poll was paid for by the police association and its a pretty safe bet its a biased.

Nothing newsworthy. I made that conclusion that Carlson’s name came up in the NSA because they were listening in on Russian conversations and emails specifically Putin’s office. By throwing a temper tantrum on television, Carlson made it know to Russians that the NSA was listening in on their conversations and accessing their email. The NSA wasn’t spying Carlson they were spying on the Russians. And because Carlson was trying to land an interview with Putin his name came up. And because he’s self centered, he blew the NSA cover.

Superbugs in institutional care is nothing new. They’re antibiotic resistant and there’s been outbreaks for at least the last decade. Typical CDC warning which occurs in a typical year but no one paid attention until now and now its all art of a conspiracy apparently……

To start at a 57% approval was unsustainable. He should bounce around the 50-55% mark unless something drastic happens….which is pretty much is election margin. Trump of course never reached 50% and never won the popular vote.

  10. Speaking of outrage, the left side of the internet is all a buzz over the FBI admitting they did not fully investigate Kavvaugh. They were given a limited list of people they could interview. Any new accusations or witnesses were to be referred to the White House. Political interference in the investigation of a Supreme Court nominee — look for the House to investigate and try to pin obstruction and interference on the Trump admin.

  11. This sounds totally normal….

If you have a sweet, tasty, sauce made from fruit in your head instead of a functioning brain.

And we don’t think you’re sucking their blood. But we do know you support the dismemberment and murder of unborn children. You and your party made it part of your platform idiot.

  12. Sorry woke clowns, but only winners get sprinkles.

  18. China owns Joe and his crime family.

“U.S. Prosecutors Drop Chinese Researcher’s Visa Fraud Case on Eve of Trial

Juan Tang is now on her way back home to China as average Americans begin questioning the priorities of American law enforcement officials.”

“Last July, I reported that the Trump administration ordered the closure of the Chinese consulate in Houston, a severe diplomatic step that was a response to a surge in Chinese espionage in this country.

At that time, a University of California-Davis researcher who had fled to the Chinese consulate in San Francisco after allegedly lying to investigators about her Chinese military service was arrested.

This July, it appears that with a different administration there are different priorities. U.S. prosecutors are dropping their case against Juan Tang, the researcher accused of concealing her ties to the Chinese military on a visa application so she could work in this country.

In documents filed in federal court in Sacramento, prosecutors asked a judge to dismiss a charge of visa fraud against Juan Tang but gave no reason why.

The trial was set to begin on Monday. A message seeking comment from the U.S. Attorney’s office in Sacramento was not returned.

Tang’s attorneys told the Sacramento Bee they provided “ample reason” to the government for dismissing the case.

“We hope Dr. Tang is allowed to return to her daughter and husband on her own,” Malcolm Segal and Tom Johnson said in a statement.

The case has now been dropped, just ahead of the trial that was slated to begin Monday. The U.S. Attorney’s office in Sacramento has not offered comments to press inquiries.”

  19. Anon — true but given there appears to have been political interference from the White House into the FBI investigation, I’d say the FBI failed to investigate other accusations and complaints. With this uncertainty surrounding a Supreme Court justice, I’m sure you will agree the House should investigate the FBI’s role.

  20. Biden does have his wit still with him. He’s referring to the beliefs in QAnon types of a child sex trafficking ring involving the world elites in which people like Biden, Clinton etc drink the blood of child sacrifices. And yes most of these QAnon types do vote Republican and may even belong to the Republican party.

It seems to be a unanimous position – the FBI is incompetent — defund it now.

The ProPublica article is interesting but long. I’ll read it later but from a quick glance, they limited the amount of information published to very general income etc. They also contacted every person whose tax records they had for their comment and opinion. Its in-depth analysis not a quick hit job. I can see why social media sites aren’t jumping on it —

Most amusing moment for me was large department stores (walmart, costco etc) being forced to close off areas as non-essential. And after visiting two Dollaramas I realized there was no consistent policy or idea what was “essential”. However, the line in the sand in Florida was amusing. The close the park and open the street is new to me as is the paddle board incident, but definitely telling how confused authorities were in creating policy.

  21. This is what should happen in the US as well…

I know that many of us want to close our eyes to what is actually going on, but this plandemic was unleashed on the world in order to pave the way toward global communism. The kingpin that must be toppled is the USA.

At least in Europe, people are saying, “I’ve had enough!”

“Anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine passport protests erupted across Europe on Saturday, according to media photos and videos.

Thousands upon thousands of demonstrators were seen in London, Dublin, Paris, Rome, Athens, and other cities across Europe, according to footage and news reports.”

  22. What!

You mean folks aren’t enjoying the suck that is the Biden admin?

    Buyer’s remorse already?

    Hahaha. Idiots.

“Americans’ optimism about country’s direction over next year drops nearly 20 points since

“As President Joe Biden completed 100 days in office, the country was optimistic about the coming year, but now, just after hitting the six-month mark, Americans’ optimism about the direction of the country has plummeted nearly 20 points, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds.

A majority — 55% — of the public say they are pessimistic about the direction of the country, a marked change from the roughly one-third (36%) that said the same in an ABC News/Ipsos poll published May 2. In the early May survey, Americans were more optimistic than pessimistic by a 28-percentage point margin. Optimism is now under water by 10 points. Looking ahead to the next 12 months, fewer than half — 45% — now report feeling optimistic about the way things are going, a significant drop from about two-thirds (64%) in the May poll.”

The decline in optimism has occurred across the board among Democrats, Republicans and independents. Optimism is down about 20 points among Democrats and Republicans and down 26 points among independents. Among Democrats, about 7 in 10 (71%) now say they are optimistic about the direction of the country over the next 12 months. That’s much lower than the near universal (93%) approval from Democrats on Biden’s handling of the pandemic. In politics today, partisans usually are more unified in their support or opposition to particular issues or people.”

But hey, no mean tweets…. that’s gotta count for something, right?

  23. Direction of country polls are fairly ambiguous to be of much use. One could be pessimistic about the country’s future for various reasons. Regardless this is a fairly strange article. RCP polls show that “Right Direction” has been fairly consistent between 40-45% since February, which of course is a bit better than the 30-40% Trump had during his presidency (back even further, most polls show only 30-40% in the right direction all the way back to Bush Jr).
