Prayer Requests 7-6-21

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 127

A song of ascents. Of Solomon.

Unless the Lord builds the house,
    the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain.
In vain you rise early
    and stay up late,
   toiling for food to eat—
for he grants sleep to those he loves.

Children are a heritage from the Lord,
    offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.

  1. Heidi is having some procedures done today under anesthesia. Her teeth are being cleaned, a dangly skin tag is being removed, and a bump/lump on her lower back is being drained and examined. She should be fine, but please pray that it will be so, and that that bump is nothing more than a cyst. Thank you.

  2. Still working through issues related to the dog bite, etc. Stitches should come out tomorrow. Meanwhile, I’m still battling a lot of spiritual warfare surrounding the last three weeks.

  3. Good Morning….lifting all in prayer and supplication. May our Lord lead Wesley directly to where he is to live…for He knows…..
And asking Him to watch over your beloved Heidi during her procedure…He knows how dearly we love those furry blessings He has so graciously given us to love and care for… ♥️
Dear Michelle you have certainly been through it as of late and I am standing with you in knowing greater is He…may today be the day of breakthrough……and healing…… ♥️

  4. Praying for Debra and C this morning, as well as A and S at the loss of their baby.

Asking prayer for wisdom for husband as he determines whether to head back east today or wait a bit. Lots on his plate but parents are a priority.

  5. Another prayer request: As I have mentioned, our house needs a lot of repairs, many of them serious (and expensive) ones. Last night, my attention was drawn to one of the issues right as I was about to get ready for bed, which resulted in me lying in bed wide awake for a long time, worrying about these issues. Knowing full well that I should be trusting in God and not worrying, I was eventually able to release it all into His hands and finally fall asleep.

Please pray that the added money we will get through the refinancing of the home loan (which Nightingale is sure will not be enough for all our needs) will “go a long way”, and that God will lead us to carpenters or contractors (or whomever) who will deal favorably with us. Also, please pray that no further damage will come from the current needs before they can be repaired (which is what I was worrying about last night). Thank you.

  6. Thank you for your prayers. When we first got near the school where he will teach, we took a wrong turn and ended up right at an apartment complex. He said he had booked a tour there for today. I told him we had already found where he would live. And after looking at other places last night and today, he decided on that one. At least one hurdle has been jumped over. Praising God! So, Nancyjill, what you prayed came to be! God led us there first thing.♡

  8. God sure has a sense of humour! I love that he took Wesley “directly to where he is to live”! By the way, I love the name Wesley since I now have an Adorable with that name!

Praying for the other requests as well.
