Prayer Requests 6-1-21

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 106:1-5

Praise the Lord.

   Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.

Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord
    or fully declare his praise?
Blessed are those who act justly,
who always do what is right.

Remember me, Lord, when you show favor to your people,
come to my aid when you save them,
that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones,
that I may share in the joy of your nation
and join your inheritance in giving praise.

  1. Lifting them to the Lord with you, Mumsee. May God infuse His strength into C to breakthrough to the next step on his path to recovery. May the times of rest for Debra be filled with God’s comfort and also be unencumbered with anxious thoughts because she trusts God completely. May lingering tiredness start to go away and be replaced with God’s supernatural energy. Always praying in Jesus’ name, Amen

  2. I have no idea who was praying for me yesterday, but I believe someone was. I am going through another challenge with siblings. After the initial distress, I was suddenly filled with peace about it all (dispite the sadness). What a marvelous God we have!

  3. Still having a kind of underlying feeling of anxiety, with moments when it feels more than underlying. Please pray for a breakthrough in this.

And please pray the same for my Chickadee. She seems stuck in some kind of dark hole. Since the one text on Mother’s Day, she has not responded to my occasional texts.

I hate to admit that I skipped last week. I intended to eventually say something, but I just didn’t know what to say, and was feeling down myself.

  4. Heavenly Father, Thank You for blessing Kathaleena with Your felt presence raising her up above the fray. You are above all and beyond all earthly turmoil and discord between people in families and on the grander global scale. Thank You for this excellent witness of how You can bring peace that passes understanding in Your timing and with Your supernatural ways.

Lord, I do lift up Kizzie’s need. I pray along with the Fellowship of the Blog who are praying for a resolution to her desperate situation. Please help her to feel the invisible hands of Jesus pulling and tugging her up and out of the quicksand of despair. I pray You will wage battle and defeat the strongholds of the evil one who keeps perpetrating plans to defeat Your good and excellent plans for Kizzie and her family. This has been a long and hard fought battle to rescue her Chickadee from a harmful situation. Please make a way when it seems there is no way. You do miracles still and a miracle is needed. Show Yourself strong in the lives of each of Kizzie’s family members so there can no longer be a denial of Who You Are by her offspring and their friends. Please put it upon the hearts of people in Kizzie’s church to see and understand her need for help. Please help Boy to make friends with Christians who can make the faith real to him. Thank You, Abba, for doing what is necessary to conquer whatever is rising up to try and harm this precious family. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

  5. We are struggling to find staff for summer camp. Most of our former staff/leaders are from non-Christian homes where the parents do not understand supporting camp. So the parents tell their 16 – 19 year olds that they need to work where they make more money (even though we’ve raised wages every year and now pay good wages). It’s difficult for them.

Please pray that good quality staff will apply and that we will be able to run a great summer so that more children/teens will come to Jesus. Please pray for the two directors who have to navigate through this tough year.
