Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 88
1 Lord, you are the God who saves me;
day and night I cry out to you.
2 May my prayer come before you;
turn your ear to my cry.
3 I am overwhelmed with troubles
and my life draws near to death.
4 I am counted among those who go down to the pit;
I am like one without strength.
5 I am set apart with the dead,
like the slain who lie in the grave,
whom you remember no more,
who are cut off from your care.
6 You have put me in the lowest pit,
in the darkest depths.
7 Your wrath lies heavily on me;
you have overwhelmed me with all your waves.
8 You have taken from me my closest friends
and have made me repulsive to them.
I am confined and cannot escape;
9 my eyes are dim with grief.
I call to you, Lord, every day;
I spread out my hands to you.
10 Do you show your wonders to the dead?
Do their spirits rise up and praise you?
11 Is your love declared in the grave,
your faithfulness in Destruction?
12 Are your wonders known in the place of darkness,
or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion?
13 But I cry to you for help, Lord;
in the morning my prayer comes before you.
14 Why, Lord, do you reject me
and hide your face from me?
15 From my youth I have suffered and been close to death;
I have borne your terrors and am in despair.
16 Your wrath has swept over me;
your terrors have destroyed me.
17 All day long they surround me like a flood;
they have completely engulfed me.
18 You have taken from me friend and neighbor—
darkness is my closest friend.
I’m asking again for prayer for C. He had scans taken of his lungs, and when rehab drs saw it, they basically said there is nothing they can do for him and C was sent from the rehab to the local ER . I went to the ER last night straight from work at 10 pm. I’m still here. Some drs are offering palliative care (slim hope) vs intubation (less hope). They said his lungs are just destroyed. But are willing to try since it’s covid and so little is still known.
Afraid, but still trusting Him,
Debra

My prayer request is for another C, my sister-in-law, who will spend the day in surgery with two surgeons on an esophageal reattachment that includes moving her stomach–which has become attached to other chest organs, and other complications. The doctor is confident he can handle the surgery, but even though I’ve examined diagrams and explanations, it sounds like a big deal to me.
Anyway, she’s a lapsed Catholic and when we offered to go over, lay hands, and pray for her, she demurred. “Just the prayers will be fine.”
Thank you.

Heavenly Father,
Again we call out to You, our only hope. You are our healing God, Jehovah Raphe. Please make a way of survival and recuperation for Cyrus through one of Your miracles that You are glorified through and known to give in special circumstances. You are powerful over the whole situation and know best so I pray it can be within Your good will to bring forth a miracle. Witnesses will know it was from You alone. No one else can receive credit. I thank You God for whichever course You deem best. Please make Your presence known to Debra at this desperate time. You are her Abba and she needs to feel Your comfort moment by moment. Your word promises that the prayers of Your righteous children avail much. We are made righteous only by the cleansing blood of Jesus shed on the cross. Thank You for making it possible for us to be regarded as righteous as we offer up a symphony of prayer for Cyrus and Debra. I pray in the blessed and precious name of Jesus, Amen
