Prayer Requests 4-21-21

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajissun and the folks in The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 67

May God be gracious to us and bless us
    and make his face shine on us—
so that your ways may be known on earth,
    your salvation among all nations.

May the peoples praise you, God;
    may all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
    for you rule the peoples with equity
    and guide the nations of the earth.
May the peoples praise you, God;
    may all the peoples praise you.

The land yields its harvest;
    God, our God, blesses us.
May God bless us still,
    so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.

  1. Just wanted to update everyone again on C: I talked to him last night for almost an hour! I haven’t heard his voice that much in the last 11days combined and it was very encouraging! This morning he is worn out because they tried to draw blood for several hrs last night and couldn’t get what they needed. So he’s back to texting rather than talking for a while.
    Thanks so much for your continued prayers. I am strengthened by them as well.

    I texted Nilo and let him know that we are praying for him and his family. He is VERY grateful. He is unable to communicate too much at this point, but I am letting him know daily that he and his family are not forgotten. Not by our Lord, and not by His people.

    Yesterday, I had an interesting conversation with Dad’s visiting nurse. She is a fellow Christian and mentioned that she gathers every week with women at her church to pray for local needs. They prayer walk in their parking lot and pray about whatever each one brings to the table that week. She is going to be praying for us as well as Nilo and his family.

    It’s almost startling to me to watch as God unexpectedly brings people across our path in all this mess. I feel like one of those sparrows that he notices and watches over.

    Still Trusting Him

  2. Oh Debra I loved your comparative of being that sparrow our Father watches over so carefully…for that is just how much love He pours out upon His children. I have no doubt He is watching and calling His own to cover you in prayer and petition. It truly is amazing to know He is always with us and never leaves us. Thankful for the encouraging update as we stand together… ♥️
