  1. πŸ˜€ Easter weekend arrived

πŸ˜€ The sun shines brightly today

πŸ˜€ I have been blessed with meaningful online Easter programs

πŸ˜€ Our yard overflows with blooming weeds which are too pretty to mow

πŸ˜€ All the neighbors have moved their yards

😣 Tax season drags on as it flies by

πŸ˜€ Long overdue push back on voter ID has started

😣 Opportunistic people who use situations to take advantage of the vulnerable

πŸ˜€ God is sovereign and will provide justice in His time and way

  2. I call my blooming weeds wildflowers. My front lawn is filled with short dark orange-yellow blooms right now, not the usuals we see around here. But it’s so pretty, I’d be happy enough to be rid of the grass and just go with those.

  3. πŸ™‚ Saturday

πŸ™‚ Property tax and homeowners’ insurance both paid online today — good to have those big payments over and done with

πŸ™‚ In-person church again tomorrow. I could get used to this

πŸ™‚ The pandemic won’t last forever

πŸ™‚ More ‘normal’ life will return soon

  4. Third serviceβ€”outdoorsβ€” my husband will sing with the abbreviated choir (7) indoors while I’m outside helping clean up.

Home to put ham in the over, hull and slide strawberries and then the Adorables arrive for a feast!

  5. πŸ™‚ Love, love, love my new camera.

    πŸ™‚ It’s spring!

πŸ™‚ This week I’ve been able to photograph mating snapping turtles, multiple wildflowers, and frost, all in the same week.

πŸ™‚ I’m finally getting momentum on a great big project I’ve been working on for months and that felt a bit “over my head” through the winter.

πŸ™‚ I finally finished and invoiced a project that ended up six months behind schedule after the author had Covid and was slow to turn things around.

πŸ™‚ We’re fully stocked on food again, and the fridge is stocked enough I shouldn’t have to cook for several days.

😦 One more holiday we won’t be able to see family. Thirteen months now since we attended church in person.

πŸ™‚ I’ve been able to join in Bible studies from two churches via Zoom, as well as taking day trips with my husband and walks with friends from church.

πŸ™‚ And did I mention it’s spring and blossoms are blooming all over?

πŸ™‚ This coming week will be one of the prettiest in the whole year–the week that most of the blossoming trees bloom at the same time.

  6. πŸ™‚ Easter joy!

πŸ™‚ I was given an Easter present this morning from the Lord. I have been missing a small diamond earring for a couple of months now. I used my vacuum cleaner a couple of days ago and had it out to figure out why it was whistling. I was interrupted in that job, so had left it alone on some newspapers. Meanwhile, I took out the information papers to figure out how to get into the intake tube more. I decided to wash the filters while I had it open, since I had never done that and I had bought it in 2002!. I was walking out of the kitchen when I noticed an earring next to the newspapers. Sure enough it was the lost earring! I can only figure it must have been lodged on the cleaning bar or caught up some how in the bottom of the machine. I must have jarred it loose when I was flipping the machine around. At any rate, it was a nice present.
