  1. Oh dear….

“President Trump and Melania test positive for coronavirus

“ Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

“Earlier today it was announced that presidential assistant Hope Hicks tested positive. Now the President and First Lady have tested positive as well.”

And Dems being Dems, never let a crisis go to waste.

That’s silly. The president doesn’t need to be there and has no roll in the Senate doing it’s job other to appoint, but nice try.

    The fix is already in.

    https://dailycaller.com/2020/10/01/steve-scully-debate-moderator-joe-biden-intern/

“C-SPAN’s Steve Scully, who is scheduled to moderate the next presidential debate, formerly interned for 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The Commission on Presidential Debates announced in September that Scully, C-SPAN’s senior executive producer and political editor, would moderate the second presidential debate in early September. The debate is scheduled to take place October 15 in Miami, Florida.”

“Scully, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation, described his internships for both Biden and former Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy in a 2011 interview with The Cable Center.

“I came to school in Washington, D.C., went to American University and had a couple of internships,” he said. “I worked for Joe Biden, senator from Delaware at the time, as an intern, so I had my first chance to really see politics up close in Washington, D.C.”

“I worked for Senator Kennedy,” he continued. “I was involved in his ill-fated campaign in 1980, which was interesting; having worked as a high school student in the Carter campaign in 1976, I saw from two different perspectives. I always knew I wanted to come back to Washington.”

Scully in March 2016 tweeted an anti-Trump column titled “No, Not Trump, Not Ever.”

“Donald Trump is epically unprepared to be president,” reads the New York Times opinion piece that Scully tweeted. “He has no realistic policies, no advisers, no capacity to learn.”

“His vast narcissism makes him a closed fortress. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know and he’s uninterested in finding out. He insults the office Abraham Lincoln once occupied by running for it with less preparation than most of us would undertake to buy a sofa,” the piece continues.”

  3. Liar, liar…..

“Andrew Cuomo Says He Didn’t Order COVID Patients Into Nursing Homes – But We Have The Receipts…”

    ———-

    Cruz called them on it.

    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortneyobrien/2020/10/01/ted-cruz-presses-chris-cuomo-about-his-brothers-dangerous-nursing-home-policy-n2577267

“CNN anchor Chris Cuomo finally found himself a guest that was willing to press him about his brother’s dangerous policies. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) held nothing back in their interview Wednesday night, including how Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s nursing home mandate that forced facilities to accept recovering COVID patients left tens of thousands of seniors vulnerable. The state suggests that over 6,000 seniors died from COVID in elder care homes. But because New York doesn’t take into account residents who died after being transferred to the hospital, we expect the number to be much higher.

On Wednesday, Gov. Cuomo tried to rewrite recent history.”

“Like Gov. Cuomo, Chris responded to the criticism about the nursing home order by deflecting to President Trump and suggesting it’s his failure that has so far resulted in over 200,000 U.S. deaths. But Sen. Cruz kept pushing.

“It’s particularly not right, Chris, when your brother has presided over the state with the highest death rate in the country,” Cruz countered. ”

  4. Another failed leftist meme. Note it’s one that Chris Wallace willingly played along on.

The Proud Boys are white nationalists?

    That’s news to these guys….

“Anti-Trumpers Celebrate News That President Tests Positive For Coronavirus”

“With the news that President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have both tested positive for Coronavirus, liberals on Twitter had a chance to show the country that they were bigger than hateful, petty politics.

They had an opportunity to rise above the nastiness and division.

    They failed.

    Should anyone be surprised?”

  7. @8:23 I don’t know how people expect that the debate will not be rather chaotic when the President is having to debate 2 people while Biden is given kid glove treatment. I dislike watching the debates when there is such obvious bias. The President has already debated with a Democrat moderator. Let Jesse Waters moderate; he’s Libertarian. I think he would be much more even-handed.

  8. Before the debates, I knew nothing at all about the Proud Boys (except that they were targeted at BLM /Antifa riots and protests). So I looked them up. These are their tenets:

“Minimal Government, Maximum Freedom, Anti-Political Correctness, Anti-Drug War, Closed Borders, Ant-Racial Guilt, Anti-Racism, Pro-Free Speech (1st Amendment), Pro-Gun Rights (2nd Amendment), Glorifying the Entrepreneur, Venerating the Housewife, Reinstating a Spirit of Western Chauvinism”

  9. I read a little bit of the site and they are not anti-gay or pro-gay as far as I can tell. They do allow gay members, but it is a male-only group. And they define ‘male’ traditionally (and graphically, for the benefit of some on the left who are confused about what constitutes ‘male’.) There is also a female counterpart group for women who support them, but I wasn’t interested enough to check that out.

  10. Kizzie,

Your Wiki link is a leftists’ opinion of the PB’s, nothing more. The Patch link is more of the same. Both make accusations but are short on proof. And any “source” that’s using the SPLC as their authority on the matter, is suspect at best.

The only violence they’ve been tied to is as a counter to Antifa, who they’ve fought with more than once. They’re the opposite side of the Antifa coin in that respect, but there are no examples at all of PBs causing the type of rioting and unrest we’ve seen lately from Antifa. They aren’t attacking police, burning businesses, or destroying, looting, and burning cities.

Both Wiki and the Patch article have allegations galore, what’s lacking though is actual proof.

I know little about them, but I can tell when someone is trying to blame someone else for their own crimes. The left and Antifa are what they accuse the PBs of, only problem is they have few examples to point too whereas we have 90 days worth of proof in multiple cities. They’re gaslighting us/you again.

  11. Also the PB “member” as your Patch link calls the guy who organized in Charlotteville was a former member removed because of his extreme tactics months before that rally. The PBs had nothing to do with it and publicly encouraged their members to avoid the obvious set up it was. I found all this out in about 5 minutes, yet Patch never did it seems, because they didn’t mention it.

  12. They may be all or some of what they’re accused of, but I just find the players saying so to be of no repute and am skeptical of the garbage they call their work. The SPLC, ADL, and Wiki especially…. I don’t trust their opinions at all.

  13. AJ – On a friend’s Facebook post, someone had shared the Wikipedia link, and someone else replied, like you, that the SPLC is a bad source. I pointed out that the Wikipedia article lists 179 source notes.

I don’t know one way or the other, but shared those links as different perspectives to consider.
