Prayer Requests 8-11-20

Psalm 11

For the director of music. Of David.

¹In the Lord I take refuge.
    How then can you say to me:
    “Flee like a bird to your mountain.
²For look, the wicked bend their bows;
    they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
    at the upright in heart.
³When the foundations are being destroyed,
    what can the righteous do?”

⁴The Lord is in his holy temple;
    the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
    his eyes examine them.
⁵The Lord examines the righteous,
    but the wicked, those who love violence,
    he hates with a passion.
⁶On the wicked he will rain
    fiery coals and burning sulfur;
    a scorching wind will be their lot.

⁷For the Lord is righteous,
he loves justice;
the upright will see his face.

Among other things, I am thanking God today that a little 3 yr. old from WI was found. This child followed a dog into the woods. The dog came back, but the child could not be found. Finally the next day the child was found. I am sure a lot of prayers went up for this little one.

Also, praising Him that I found the car title. The couple appear to want the car, and we will settle up before month’s end.
