It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 101
Of David. A psalm.
1 I will sing of your love and justice;
to you, Lord, I will sing praise.
2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
when will you come to me?
I will conduct the affairs of my house
with a blameless heart.
3 I will not look with approval
on anything that is vile.
I hate what faithless people do;
I will have no part in it.
4 The perverse of heart shall be far from me;
I will have nothing to do with what is evil.
5 Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret,
I will put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,
I will not tolerate.
6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
the one whose walk is blameless
will minister to me.
7 No one who practices deceit
will dwell in my house;
no one who speaks falsely
will stand in my presence.
8 Every morning I will put to silence
all the wicked in the land;
I will cut off every evildoer
from the city of the Lord.
Prayer for DJ as things in the newspaper business continue to close in around her. Peace in God and His holding of the plan.

May I ask you to pray for this child in my church? Obviously you know the comparison I made and the quick prayer of thanks for a healthy Little Miss.
NFR’s 3rd birthday was March 27, 2020. Just 2 months prior on January 18th, she was diagnosed with an exceptionally large neuroblastoma cancerous tumor arising from her left adrenal gland attached to her kidney infiltrating into her bone marrow. She immediately began chemotherapy at Baton Rouge Children’s Hospital, an affiliate of St Jude’s in Memphis. After the 2nd round of chemotherapy, the scans showed no improvement. She then went to St Jude’s for stem cell retrieval for possible later use. Surgery was not an option because it wrapped around her aorta, vena cava, spleen, and liver, with possible projection into her spine.
NFR’s parents, N and P, then reached out to Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, the world’s leading Neuroblastoma treatment center. The oncologist there, along with the world-renowned pediatric cancer surgeon, felt surgery after her 5th round of chemotherapy was the best time to attempt tumor removal. This 12-hour surgery is planned for May 27th and described by the surgeon as a “very, very serious surgery.” Thus far, our angel N has fought heroically through chemotherapy and multiple procedures with barely a tear–proving Jesus and His angels have and will continue to protect her.
We are asking everyone for prayers on May 27 that Jesus will guide the surgeon’s hands for a successful outcome.
Thank you and God Bless,
T & M
