Prayer Requests 12-3-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 112

Praise the Lord.

   Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
    who find great delight in his commands.

Their children will be mighty in the land;
    the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in their houses,
    and their righteousness endures forever.
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
    for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
    who conduct their affairs with justice.

Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
    they will be remembered forever.
They will have no fear of bad news;
    their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;
    in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,
    their righteousness endures forever;
    their horn will be lifted high in honor.

10 The wicked will see and be vexed,
    they will gnash their teeth and waste away;
    the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

  1. Thanks.
    Today’s update: they were told to expect severe cerebral palsy but no guarantees. The boy may be almost fine but probably will require twenty four hour care. Instead of holding both babies, daughter got to hold little boy. It did help his oxygen level a mite. A very intricate delicate procedure.
    Little girl continues to do well and should be ready to be held tomorrow. They just felt the boy needed it more than the girl, at this point.
    As far as son in law coming back, they sent a Red Cross message which can get a military person on a plane in hours, but the people are demanding proof the babies were born. What???? Yep. Birth certificates which can take two weeks. It was not high on daughter’s list of priorities so she has not submitted them yet. First thing tomorrow. And so it goes. Some are saying he should not be transferred stateside as she is here and handling it.

    Our day went well. Three year old fell asleep on the couch next to me and slept about three hours. We had lots of fun. I did not get to hold little baby as much today as I was busy with toddlers.

    So: prayer for the twins. Prayer for the parents, the brother, the doctors. We would like son in law back here but, of course, God knows His plans better than we do.
