  1. Never-Trumpers hardest hit by the news…..

They get upset when real conservatives don’t play along.

“40 conservative groups sign ethics complaint against Pelosi”

“A coalition of conservative groups has filed an ethics complaint against Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) claiming that she has usurped authority from the executive branch and “weaponized” the impeachment process.

In a complaint to the Office of Congressional Ethics, 40 conservative groups led by Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots Action wrote to the board’s chairman, David Skaggs, arguing that Pelosi was carrying out an unconstitutional, partisan investigation.

The letter also argued that a vote scheduled for Thursday on a House resolution laying out the process and some procedures for impeachment was “insufficient” to dispel their worries about a partisan investigation.

“Speaker Pelosi’s conduct is an encroachment across the constitutionally-mandated separation of powers. She has no business examining or investigating the president’s legitimate exercise of his authority to determine the foreign and national security policy of the United States,” the complaint stated.

“In launching her ‘official’ impeachment inquiry without benefit of a vote of the full House of Representatives and without indicating anything remotely qualifying as ‘treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors’ that is the subject of the inquiry, Speaker Pelosi has weaponized impeachment,” the complaint continued.

“She and her Democratic colleagues are using the impeachment process as a weapon of partisan political battle, rather than as the means to defend the Constitution our Framers meant it to be,” the complaint added.

In a statement to The Hill, Martin said that “the genie cannot be put back into the bottle” after Democrats began the impeachment inquiry without a formal House vote.

“Speaker Pelosi’s latest impeachment gambit — at last, a vote of the full House! — is merely a continuation of her ongoing roughshod-running,” said Martin.

“The genie cannot be put back in the bottle. All that ‘evidence’ that has been gathered before the casting of a single vote is tainted by the corrupt, secret process in which it was gathered. It is poisoned, and must be discarded for the sake of fairness,” Martin added.”

  2. Shifty’s latest whistleblower has already been refuted….

“BREAKING: NSC Official Testifies He Heard Nothing Illegal On Trump-Zelensky Call, Transcript Accurate”

“Update: A Townhall congressional source has confirmed CBS’s and The Federalist’s reporting.

BREAKING: CBS News is reporting that Tim Morrison, the National Security Council’s Senior Director for European Affairs, testified before Congress on Thursday that he heard nothing illegal on the phone call between President Donald J. Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Morrison also reportedly testified that the transcript released by the White House was accurate.”

“My recollection is that Ambassador Sondland’s proposal to [Ukrainian National Security Advisor Andriy] Yermak was that it could be sufficient if the new Ukrainian prosecutor general — not President Zelensky — would commit to pursue the Burisma investigation, Morrison testified according to the Federalist.

“I am pleased our process gave the president the confidence he needed to approve the release of the security sector assistance,” he added. “I am proud of what I have been able, in some small way, to help the Trump administration accomplish.”

  3. All of Ricky’s heroes are sweating. And they should be. 🙂

“A number of former high-level Obama administration officials could fall into the investigative crosshairs of U.S. Attorney John Durham’s team as his probe into the handling of the Russia investigation rises to the level of a criminal inquiry.

The elevation in status means the U.S. attorney for Connecticut will be able to subpoena witnesses, file charges and impanel grand juries.

“You do not impanel a grand jury at this point unless you are going to indict,” a source familiar with the investigation told Fox News. “Durham is at a point where he knows he has crimes and now the question is how many people were involved and they have a pretty good idea of that group of people and what the charges can be and whether or not they can get some cooperators.”

The development has prompted allegations from Democrats that the Department of Justice is being politicized. Attorney General Bill Barr, however, rejected those claims and defended the Durham probe in an interview earlier this week with Fox News, while accusing the James Comey-era FBI brass of a “failure of leadership.”

Those bureau leaders and others could well be questioned as part of Durham’s probe, as speculation runs rampant over who might be at risk of being charged.”

  4. Looks like Omar sold her vote.

“An official with a Turkish-American advocacy group contributed $1,500 to Rep. Ilhan Omar last month, campaign records show. He also met with the Minnesota Democrat.

Omar was scrutinized over votes she cast Tuesday that are seen as favorable to the Turkish government.

Omar was the only House Democrat to vote against imposing sanctions against Turkey. She was also one of only 14 lawmakers to not support a resolution recognizing the Ottoman empire’s genocide against Armenians more than a century ago.

Halil Mutlu contributed to Omar’s campaign last month, records show. His group, the Turkish American Steering Committee, has waged a public relations campaign against the genocide resolution.”

“Mutlu, who Turkish media outlets have reported is Erdogan’s cousin, is co-chairman of TASC, according to the group’s website.

Founded in 2015, TASC has orchestrated a public relations push to cast doubt on whether the Ottoman empire committed genocide against Armenians more than a century ago.

The group has also held rallies outside the White House condemning Syrian Kurds as terrorists, a position held by the Turkish government. Media reports show Mutlu, a physician based in Connecticut, has also led TASC protests outside the Pennsylvania home of Fethullah Gulen, an exiled Muslim cleric who Erdogan wants extradited back to Turkey.

Omar came under intense scrutiny Tuesday over two votes she cast on resolutions aimed at punishing Turkey over its incursion earlier this month against Syrian Kurds. “

  5. All true, but it is the mandatory defense of idiocy that has made the last three years so funny. Besides, the destruction of the nation’s conservative political party is a small price to pay for keeping the worst New Yorker of all from moving to Dixie.

  6. Michelle,

I agree. Actions and fruit. While in the past Ricky’s establishment candidates have done little more than pay lip service, Trump got things done.

    “Appointed Pro-Life Judges
During the 2016 campaign, then-candidate Trump promised he would nominate pro-life justices to the U.S. Supreme Court. In the final presidential debate, Trump stated, “I am pro-life, and I will be appointing pro-life judges.” President Trump has already made significant progress on this commitment to the Pro-Life Movement. In April, 2017, Judge Neil Gorsuch was successfully confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court. And in October, 2018, Judge Brett Kavanaugh was successfully confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court. To date, 144 of President Trump’s judicial nominees have been confirmed, including two Supreme Court justices, forty-three U.S. Courts of Appeals judges, and ninety-nine District Court judges.

✅ Permitted States to Defund Planned Parenthood of Title X Funds
In April 2017, Congress sent a bill to President Trump’s desk that permits states to defund Planned Parenthood of Title X family planning funds passed in Congress. President Trump signed the bill which reverses an Obama-era rule that disbarred states from doing so. Because this was passed using the Congressional Review Act, future Administrations cannot enact a similar rule to Obama’s.

✅ Stopped Tax Dollars Funding Abortion Overseas
President Trump not only reinstated the Mexico City Policy, but expanded it to the new Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance program. This new policy ensures that our tax dollars are protected from funding the abortion industry overseas across ALL global health spending, not just family planning dollars. The Bush-era Mexico City Policy protected roughly $500 million in spending – the new Trump policy protects over $8.8 billion overseas aid from funding abortion.

    ✅ Defunded the Pro-Abortion UNFPA
The UNFPA has long been complicit in China’s oppressive population control activities, including birth limitation policies and forced abortions. President Trump’s State Department cut U.S. Taxpayer funding to the UNFPA.

✅ Required Health Insurance Companies to Disclose if Plans Cover Abortion
The Trump Administration Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) issued a rule requiring that insurers specify in each plan Summary of Benefits whether the plan covers abortion. The administration also requested input on how to better enforce the limited abortion provisions contained in Obamacare. Until Obamacare is overturned and replaced with a system that does not subsidize abortion coverage, insurers must make abortion coverage clear to persons shopping for a plan.

✅ Settlements & New Rule Regarding HHS Mandate
The Departments of HHS, Treasury, and Labor issued two interim final rules, which means they took effect immediately, while allowing a comment period, that provide permanent, enforceable relief from the previous HHS mandate for both religious objectors, such as Little Sisters of the Poor, and moral objectors, such as Susan B. Anthony List. The new rule also exempts private employers and educational institutions that have sincerely held religious beliefs or moral objections against providing contraceptives or abortifacient drugs.”

    And that’s just the start.

Maybe Ricky just needs better sources of info.

Same goes for national defense. Ricky just hates it because he’s not a warmongering neocon, like Ricky is.

  7. Promoting family and family values?

Again Ricky, I don’t know where you’ve been. Much of this has been covered here.

“SUPPORTING WORKING PARENTS: President Donald J. Trump has promoted policies that support and empower working parents.

President Trump has called for the creation of a plan for nationwide paid family leave so that every new parent has the chance to bond with his or her newborn child.

He is the first president to include a plan for nationwide paid family leave in his Budget.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed by the President included a new tax credit to businesses offering paid family leave to their employees.

Businesses can receive a tax credit of up to 25% for the wages paid to employees during their leave.

This tax credit marked an important step in promoting paid family leave nationwide.

Paid family leave is an investment in our future that will strengthen family bonds and improve the financial stability of American families.

The President will ask Congress to support school choice in order to support working parents.

PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN: President Trump is committed to protecting the precious gift of life.

President Trump is calling on Congress to defend the dignity and life of every person and pass legislation to prohibit late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.
Recently, our country has witnessed a chilling disregard for life as States have taken up legislation that would expand access to abortion up until just moments before birth.

In New York, lawmakers cheered as they passed legislation that would allow for third trimester abortions in specific cases.

In Virginia, the Governor stated he would support executing a baby after birth.
Since taking office, President Trump has followed through on his promise to protect life.

The President recently signed a letter to Congress making clear that he will veto any legislation that weakens protections of life.

President Trump reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy, preventing foreign aid from being used to support abortion.

The Administration issued a proposed regulation to ensure taxpayer dollars from the Title X family planning program are not awarded to abortion providers.

HELPING FAMILIES GET AHEAD: President Trump is working to help families get ahead and build a successful future for their loved ones.

The President has enacted a pro-growth agenda that has spurred job creation and led to rising wages, helping families’ bottom lines as they support their loved ones.

President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which provided tax cuts for many families and increased deductions that will help these families get ahead:

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act doubled the child tax credit from $1,000 to $2,000 and helped more families claim the credit.

Parents are now able to use 529 education savings plans to help pay for primary and secondary education for their children thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act also drove businesses to provide millions of Americans with bonuses, wage increases, and increased benefits.”

  8. Gee…

    Let’s see…..

Clinton lied under oath. Perjury is an actual crime. Trump’s crime is what exactly?

I mean besides having the nerve to be a better choice, one that keeps his promises, and way better than anything the establishment clown posse have put forth in decades.

You’re a lawyer, right? I feel like you should know the difference.

Oh that’s right, you do, but Orange Man Bad……

  9. Look at that. Shifty’s star witness doesn’t want to talk now that their identity has been exposed.

    It’s. A. Fraud.

“‘No further discussion’: Talks halt between whistleblower lawyers and Schiff staff amid expectation he won’t testify”

“The whistleblower whose complaint launched impeachment proceedings against President Trump is unlikely to testify to Congress, as talks have ceased between his legal team and committee leaders.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who has overseen depositions in Democrats’ impeachment proceeding, was initially eager for the whistleblower to testify before citing concern about the person being identified.

Republicans accuse Schiff, a California Democrat, of changing course to prevent inquiries into his staff’s dealings with the whistleblower before he filed his Aug. 12 complaint to the Intelligence Community inspector general.

A source familiar with the discussions told the Washington Examiner that talks halted over potential testimony from the whistleblower and there is no discussion of testimony from a second whistleblower, who supported the first’s claims.

“There is no indication that either of the original whistleblowers will be called to testify or appear before the Senate or House Intelligence committees. There is no further discussion ongoing between the legal team and the committees,” the person said.”

  10. Brilliant comments from Dear Leader, Jr. He is definitely our man for 2024, though Dad should stay in the White House to offer wise “councel”.
