Prayer Requests 10-15-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 64

Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint;
    protect my life from the threat of the enemy.

Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
    from the plots of evildoers.
They sharpen their tongues like swords
    and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.
They shoot from ambush at the innocent;
    they shoot suddenly, without fear.

They encourage each other in evil plans,
    they talk about hiding their snares;
    they say, “Who will see it?”
They plot injustice and say,
    “We have devised a perfect plan!”
    Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

But God will shoot them with his arrows;
    they will suddenly be struck down.
He will turn their own tongues against them
    and bring them to ruin;
    all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
All people will fear;
    they will proclaim the works of God
    and ponder what he has done.

10 The righteous will rejoice in the Lord
    and take refuge in him;
    all the upright in heart will glory in him!

  1. The baby I asked for prayer for the other day was taken off life support when she had no brain activity. She is in heaven with her mom. I saw a picture of this mother taken just a day before the accident which took her life. How beautiful and glowing she looked! She was married just a year and a half ago. Needless to say, husband, friends and family are devastated. Yet, they are glorifying God in their grief.

  2. Well, the words out of my mouth did not sound nice to me. I told her I had worked hard for ten years to give her a good life and help her learn things and make good decisions and all I get is abuse so I am done and going on vacation. All comments go to dad for now.

    Instant change. Must have shaken her into sense. She wrote me a letter (in pretty writing rather than angry scribbles as she does when angry) saying very nice things. Her demeanor changed, her behavior changed. As she was going out the door, she ran and said she would get the gate for dad. She was very cooperative at her job meeting (though, in yet another bureaucratic failure, the worker did not show up to help her).
