Anyone have something to share?
1 Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero?
Why do you boast all day long,
you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God?
2 You who practice deceit,
your tongue plots destruction;
it is like a sharpened razor.
3 You love evil rather than good,
falsehood rather than speaking the truth.
4 You love every harmful word,
you deceitful tongue!
5 Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin:
He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent;
he will uproot you from the land of the living.
6 The righteous will see and fear;
they will laugh at you, saying,
7 “Here now is the man
who did not make God his stronghold
but trusted in his great wealth
and grew strong by destroying others!”
8 But I am like an olive tree
flourishing in the house of God;
I trust in God’s unfailing love
for ever and ever.
9 For what you have done I will always praise you
in the presence of your faithful people.
And I will hope in your name,
for your name is good.
Prayer for wisdom. Somebody who works there said yesterday that it is time to take eighteen daughter on a tour of the “Facility”. The prison. She keeps demanding her freedom. The prison guy seems to think people in prison for such things as assault, do not actually have much freedom. I am thinking daughter does not have the mental acuity to connect such a tour with her own life.

Mumsee – Having just read what you wrote on the prayer thread last night, I am crying (literally) out to God for your daughter and for you.

Let’s also pray for Mumsee’s health and safety. The stress she is under can be detrimental to her health and well-being.

Re: Mumsee’ daughter:
You all know what has happened to Elvera mentally recently.
Sometimes she wants to do something I know is not wise and has bad consequences.
Sometimes, also, I get exasperated and think “I’ll let her de that and teach her a lesson.”
Then, it occurs to me that people in that mental state cannot learn a lesson.
She can’t learn a lesson.
Mumsee has to do the right thing at the time. Deal with it as it occurs.

Chas, thank you for the reminder. She is like somebody lost in the seas of dementia. People all around trying to save her, throwing her life rings, but either she can’t see the help or is fearful that it is more danger.

Sounds like a long term placement is in the thinking down there. Like years.
