  1. Dissent will not be tolerated, even if it’s the right and constitutional thing to do.

“Democrat Who Refuses To Request Trump’s Tax Returns Draws A Primary Challenge”

“As we discussed here recently, New York State passed a special law aimed squarely at Donald Trump (which is likely an unconstitutional bill of attainder) that would allow the release of President Trump’s New York State tax returns. Beyond the constitutional questions, there was one other small hitch in this scheme. The law wouldn’t allow New York to expose them or do much of anything with the documents. It would only allow their release to specific committees in Congress. And in order for that to happen, somebody would have to ask for them.

Well, that still hasn’t happened. The “somebody” in question would be Democrat Richard Neal of Massachusetts, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, who Ed Morrissey wrote about this morning. And thus far, he’s shown no interest in New York’s offer. This has resulted in some of his further left colleagues back home growing rather angry at his lack of initiative. Mayor Alex Morse of Holyoke was incensed enough to announce that he would be challenging Neal in the primary next year. (NBC News)

In a sign of progressives’ anger, a Democrat on Monday announced that he will take on Neal, a moderate who has been in office since 1989, in a primary.

“There’s an urgency to this moment in Massachusetts’ 1st District and our country, and that urgency is not matched by our current representative in Congress,” Holyoke, Massachusetts, Mayor Alex Morse said in a video announcing his candidacy. “We need new leadership that understands that we can no longer settle for small, incremental and compromising progress. We need to be on offense.”

The progressive magazine The American Prospect also has repeatedly taken issue with Neal’s leadership, saying his committee “has shown none of the zeal for oversight exhibited by its counterparts.”

For his part, Neal is saying that requesting the returns now would be premature and might even bog down their efforts to get Trump’s federal returns. Going the state route with New York should be seen as a last-ditch measure after all other options have failed. But a position like that smacks of common sense and moderation, neither of which is currently in vogue in Democratic circles.”

  2. Stating the obvious.

“WaPo, Politico: You Know Mueller-Mas Will Be A Bust (Again), Right?”

    https://hotair.com/archives/ed-morrissey/2019/07/22/wapo-politico-know-mueller-mas-will-bust-right/

“Of course we know it will be a bust, but at least a couple of outlets are getting ahead of the curve. The media has begun ramping up chatter over Robert Mueller’s testimony on Wednesday — as I’m writing this, NBC’s sending around a promotional e-mail complete with a logo, seen above. Their missive also pledges to have five anchors working the gig spread across two platforms, NBC proper and MSNBC.

Nothing like setting expectations! To be fair, everyone seems to be jumping into the deep end of the Mueller pool (via Twitchy):

‘The Washington Post, however, sounds deeply skeptical that Mueller will say anything worthy of the media circus that will launch the day after tomorrow … or anything new at all:

On Wednesday, when he delivers long-awaited testimony about his investigation into President Trump and Russian interference in the 2016 election, Democrats are hoping to coax from him the kind of dramatic moments that could galvanize public opinion against the president. Republicans, meanwhile, are eager to elicit testimony that shows the investigation was biased from its inception.

Those who know him best are skeptical he will meet either side’s expectations.

“For anybody hoping he’s going to provide new information or evidence against the president, I think many people will be very disappointed,” said John Pistole, who served as Mueller’s deputy for years when he was FBI director. “And then on the other side of the aisle, some may be disappointed to find out that he’s not a demagogue of the left.”

Pistole reminds the Post that Mueller dislikes congressional appearances anyway, but Mueller has already specifically made it clear he has nothing to add to his report. He held a press conference after its full release explicitly discouraging committees from attempting to force him to appear, telling them to read the report instead. Mueller had pushed the limits of Department of Justice guidelines on the report to AG William Barr, who then released almost all of it to the public.”

  3. The “baseless smear” that they can’t seem to debunk, or be truthful about….

    https://freebeacon.com/politics/ilhan-omar-marriage-flummoxes-media-fact-checkers/

“Ilhan Omar Marriage Flummoxes Media Fact-Checkers”

“Media outlets scrambled to prove false the accusation that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) married her brother after President Donald Trump mentioned it, but none have been able to definitively reach an answer, largely due to Omar’s unwillingness to provide information.

Trump was asked about the accusation that Omar’s husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, was also her brother during a scrum with reporters last Wednesday and said he had heard talk that she married her brother but knew “nothing about it.”

National media had largely kept away from judging the merits of the accusation that she was related to her second husband, which have circulated since her entry into politics in 2016, but after Trump’s comment many came to quick conclusions. CNN’s Jim Acosta jumped in immediately to criticize Trump for diving in on “disgusting lies.” The Daily Beast‘s Will Sommer published a lengthy piece on Friday that did little to nothing to debunk what he calls a “baseless smear.”

The closest thing to evidence against the claim presented in Sommer’s piece is a reference to a time Omar showed a Star Tribune reporter pictures on her cell phone of immigration documents with a list of members of her family. Sommer’s piece fails to mention that Omar declined to provide copies of any of the documents to the reporter or allow him to make record of the information he was briefly allowed to view.

Omar didn’t respond to requests for comment from the Daily Beast. Her congressional office currently is alerting reporters through auto-reply that it’s not responding to press inquiries, including one from the Free Beacon, into whether any other outlets have been shown documents Omar purports to be evidence against the claim she married her brother.

That one time Omar allowed a reporter to view documents on a cell phone was also the extent of substantial evidence against the claim presented in the New York Times fact-check of Omar’s marriage. (The Times also uses faulty math to indicate, based on their dates of birth, that it’s impossible for Omar and Elmi to have the same mother. It’s not.)

PolitiFact, perhaps wisely, didn’t dive into the marriage question after Trump’s Wednesday remark, but rather went to the Star Tribune to ask about its attempts to gather facts needed to reach a conclusion. The Minnesota paper’s political editor told PolitiFact his interest in the marriage controversy began because his reporters “were not getting a lot of answers” from Omar on her incorrectly filed tax returns, in which she claimed to be married to her current husband, Ahmed Abdisalan Hirsi, when she in fact was not.

“My interest as an editor began with the silence she has maintained about her improper tax filings,” said editor Kevin Diaz. “She would say only that she had corrected the 2014 and 2015 tax filings and would not divulge anything about why she had filed taxes with a man she was not married to when she was separated but still married to someone else.”

After reviewing the dearth of evidence collected by those suggesting that Elmi was Omar’s brother, Diaz assigned two reporters to come to a conclusion. “We felt as journalists, if there was smoke, it’s our job to look behind it to see if there’s fire,” Diaz said.

The paper’s biggest impediment to finding the truth was Omar, Diaz added. “What’s really made it hard is that she’s been unwilling to address any of these questions,” Diaz wrote. “That has fueled the controversy.”

“We’ve asked her these questions, and also asked her to make her father available. We’ve tried to reach Elmi. We’ve tried to reach her sisters. Her family could put this (the question of Elmi’s relationship to Omar) to rest easily. No one will talk to us. I wish we could send a reporter to Mogadishu (Somalia) but we don’t have the bandwidth.”

Diaz currently says there is “circumstantial evidence that begs for some kind of explanation from a member of Congress,” but his team is unable to reach a conclusion either way without more information from Omar. The Free Beacon has also been unable to come to a conclusion.”

    ——————-

I guess Snopes used magical powers, or their political bias, to reach their conclusion, ‘cuz they darn sure didn’t use “facts” to fact check her.

  4. After the House is done with Mueller, it’s time to call his partner in crime James Comey before the Senate to answer for his many crimes.

    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/07/mueller_and_comey_a_cozy_relationship.html

“Former FBI Director James Comey, who often can’t recall anything about the crimes committed by himself, his FBI and President Obama’s DoJ, but who lectures pompously and endlessly on ethics in government, recently released a listen of questions he felt former special prosecutor Robert Mueller should be asked at his July 24 Congressional hearings As TownHall.com reported:

Former FBI Director James Comey on Friday released a blog post detailing what questions he would ask Special Counsel Robert Mueller if he was a member of Congress. The revelation comes as Mueller prepares to testify before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.

Comey said he would focus on two key areas of Mueller’s findings: the Trump campaign’s relationship with Russia and whether or not obstruction of justice took place.

None of the questions Comey recommended, however, dealt with the long, cozy and lucrative relationship between Comey and Mueller that is at the heart of the FISA fraud and the deep state coup against the incoming Trump administration.

You can figure out how the swamp got the way it is by following the money. No clearer example is found in the financial relationship between two former FBI directors, James Comey and Robert Mueller, which goes a long way towards explaining their joint animus to President Trump and their passionate desire to bring down his presidency.

During testimony last year before Congress changed hands, Comey insisted he barely knew Mueller. Perhaps the most interesting dip into disingenuousness was Comey’s insistence that the man who made him a multimillionaire, Robert Mueller, was merely a passing acquaintance:

“Are you best friends with Robert Mueller?” Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, asked Comey, according to a transcript of the hearing released Saturday by Goodlatte and Oversight Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.).

“I am not,” Comey said. “I admire the heck out of the man, but I don’t know his phone number, I’ve never been to his house, I don’t know his children’s names.”

Comey added: “I think I had a meal once alone with him in a restaurant. I like him. I am not a — I’m an associate of his who admires him greatly. We’re not friends in any social sense.”

Comey was lying. Their “long-standing relationship” was confirmed by that Trump-loving vast right-conspiracy rag called the Washington Post:

They’ve been described as law enforcement twins and “brothers in arms.”

#COMEY & #Mueller were brothers in arms in famous 2004 standoff over domestic surveillance. Cagey choice by DAG Rosenstein.
    — Jim Sciutto (@jimsciutto) May 17, 2017

Once again, James Comey and Robert Mueller — two respected FBI veterans — have found themselves sharing the same high-profile headlines.

The two men’s working relationship can be traced back to at least December of 2003, when Comey joined Mueller in Washington after he became John Ashcroft’s deputy attorney general, according to a 2013 Washingtonian article about the two men’s long-standing relationship.

“He and Mueller spent many hours together, developing a close partnership — and watching together the disarray in the government over how to respond to the unfolding war on terror,” Washingtonian notes…

Robert Mueller owes his job as special counsel to long-time friend Comey, who famously leaked government documents written on government computers on government time to the New York Times via a professor friend regarding conversations with President Trump. Comey owes a great deal of his financial wealth to Robert Mueller.

Seamus Bruner, Government Accountability Institute Researcher and author of Compromised: How Money and Politics Drive FBI Corruption, recently explained how former FBI Directors James Comey and Robert Mueller leveraged their government contacts to enrich themselves when Comey briefly left government service to work for major government contractor Lockheed Martin:”

  5. The next obvious step after Transgender story time?

Suing women who refused to shave your male genitals and semi-nude swims with 12 yr old/teens without parents present, of course. For the safety of the kids, of course.

Yep. This perverted freak show should be in jail. But instead, Canadian authorities are considering it’s request. Ewwww…… what the heck Canada…..

    https://dailycaller.com/2019/07/22/jessica-yaniv-topless-swim-pool-party/

“The transgender woman who filed gender-identity discrimination complaints against mostly poor, immigrant women for refusing to bikini wax biological male genitalia is seeking permission to hold three “topless” swims for people ages 12 and up, and parents would be barred from attending.

Jessica Yaniv is scheduled to appear before the Township of Langley Council in British Columbia, Canada, July 22 at 7:00 pm to ask for permission for an “All-Bodies Swims” at three community pools where individuals, including girls as young as 12, will be permitted to be topless. The swim is for kids who identify as “LGBTQ2S+”. In the appeal to bar parents from attending, Yaniv cited an interest in fostering a “safe and inclusive” environment.

Yaniv has a history of making inappropriate remarks regarding young girls and faces allegations of predatory behavior towards girls online. It is unclear if Yaniv will attend the swims.

When a Twitter user asked Yaniv about the topless pool party, Yaniv responded, “What’s the problem with 12 year old topless girls? Let them be theirselves.”

Here’s the other story on this perv.

    https://dailycaller.com/2019/07/18/transgender-brazilian-wax-jessica-yaniv-predator/

“Trans Woman Shutters Immigrant’s Business For Refusing To Wax Male Genitalia”

“Jessica Yaniv, a transgender Canadian woman, has filed over a dozen gender-identity discrimination complaints against women in the Vancouver area who have refused to perform Brazilian bikini wax procedures on her male genitalia.

Yaniv’s identity was revealed Wednesday after the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal overturned an order protecting Yaniv’s identity from being disclosed by the Canadian press. However, Yaniv’s identity has long been suspected by the public, according to John Carpay, President of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, which is representing five women Yaniv has filed complaints against.

Carpay says the women Yaniv has filed complaints against are mostly poor immigrant women who speak English as a second language. He believes multiple women have likely been forced to shut down their businesses as a result of Yaniv’s complaints, as he told the Daily Caller. In the hearing Wednesday, Maria Da Silva, an immigrant from Brazil with young children, testified that Yaniv’s complaint forced her to close the Brazilian wax business she operated out of her home.

The women who refused Yaniv the procedure say they are not qualified to perform a Brazilian wax service on male genitalia, as it is entirely different from the service intended for women. An esthetician who does perform Brazilian waxes on men testified at an earlier hearing that this service requires completely different expertise.

The Human Rights Tribunal has not announced their decision on the cases, and will not do so until a few weeks or months have passed, according to Carpay. ”

“Court Dismisses Lawsuit from Student Hit by Car While Protesting Trump

Student says university should’ve warned about dangers of protesting on freeway”

“A judge has dismissed a lawsuit from a college student for injuries she sustained while protesting the election of Donald Trump on a freeway, after he declared victory in November 2016.

Protests on college campuses were a common sight after the election. At the University of California, San Diego, one such protest by hundreds of students began on campus, but ultimately moved to the nearby I-5 freeway at approximately 1:30 am. Students were presumably trying to block the freeway, a tactic which was common at the height of the Black Lives Matter protests.

As students fanned out across the lanes, they flashed the lights on their phones to signal oncoming traffic of their presence. A Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) vehicle tried to slow approaching drivers by driving in an “S” formation, but within moments, a driver went around the Caltrans vehicle and struck a student while moving at considerable speed.

The student, Maria Ana Carrola Flores, suffered a crushed pelvis and a fractured leg, among other injuries. The driver stopped and was released when it was determined he was not driving under the influence.

In 2017, Flores filed a lawsuit against the driver, the city and county of San Diego, the University of California, San Diego, and the UC Board of Regents.

Flores’s attorney, Jerold Sullivan, argued that while his client accepted her responsibility for the accident, others shared blame as well. Sullivan claimed that according to Flores, campus officials had encouraged the protest, did not control it, and failed to warn students of the danger of walking onto the freeway.”

    ——————

“It has now been revealed that the amended lawsuit has also been tossed.

The San Diego Superior Court dismissed Flores’s lawsuit without prejudice on May 26, according to documents obtained by the College Fix.

Their report includes a response to the verdict from Sullivan, who said, “The person that ran her over did not have insurance and is judgment proof with no assets. Ms. Flores is left with no recourse for catastrophic physical injuries and a lifetime of medical expenses.”

And no one to blame but herself.

Well, and her parents too I guess, since they apparently never told her it’s not a good idea to play in traffic.

  7. Once again the parrots formerly known as journalists are just repeating false info they heard from other parrots.

The new meme today is Trump and the DoJ are attempting to obstruct the House investigation with regards to Mueller’s testimony by telling him what he can and can’t say. It’s proof of obstruction they claim.

But the parrots are leaving out relative facts. Like the fact that the DoJ letter was a response to a Mueller letter seeking their guidance.

But hey, why let facts get in the way, right?

“Get ready for accusations of interference from House Democrats, but this letter from the Department of Justice to Robert Mueller looks more like a shield. Mueller had sent a written request to the DoJ to establish the limits of his testimony tomorrow before two House committees, and Associate Deputy Attorney General Bradley Weinsheimer gladly provided those instructions. And not by coincidence do they describe precisely those declared by Mueller himself at a presser in May:

A Justice Department official told former Special Counsel Robert Mueller that his upcoming testimony to House lawmakers “must remain within the boundaries” of the public, redacted version of his report, in a letter obtained by Fox News on Monday evening.

The letter, obtained by Fox News, signed by Associate Deputy Attorney General Bradley Weinsheimer, states: “Dear Mr. Mueller: I write in response to your July 10, 2019 letter concerning the testimonial subpoenas you received from the House Judiciary Committee (HJC) and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).

“Your letter requests that the Department provide you with guidance concerning privilege or other legal bars applicable to potential testimony in connection with those subpoenas.”

After stating the decision to testify is Mueller’s to make, the letter continues: “But the Department agrees with your stated position that your testimony should be unnecessary under the circumstances. The Department generally does not permit prosecutors such as you to appear and testify before Congress regarding their investigative and prosecutorial activity.

In other words, Weinsheimer is saying that the DoJ aggressively agrees with Mueller’s May 29th statement to the media. He agrees with it so much that he leads off the letter with it:”

“Fraud: Judicial Watch Has Filed an Ethics Complaint Against Ilhan Omar”

“Government watchdog Judicial Watch has filed an ethics complaint with the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics against Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar over numerous allegations of fraud and repeated criminal action.

“Substantial, compelling and, to date, unrefuted evidence has been uncovered that Rep. Ilhan Omar may have committed the following crimes in violation of both federal law and Minnesota state law: perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, state and federal tax fraud, and federal student loan fraud,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton wrote in a letter to Congressional Ethics Chairman David Skaggs. “Such violations would also breach the Code of Ethics for Government Service, to which all federal officeholders are subject, “Any person in Government service should uphold the Constitution, laws, and legal regulations of the United States and all governments therein and never be a party to their evasion.”) Rep. Omar actions in this suspected immigration fraud, marriage fraud, perjurious statements on her Minnesota divorce filings, and falsifications on her tax returns, merit your immediate investigation.”

Fitton is calling for a thorough investigation from Skaggs’ office and wants details about Omar’s potential engagement in immigration fraud.

“Rep. Omar’s conduct may include immigration fraud. It appears that Rep. Omar married her brother in order to assist his emigration to the United Stated from the United Kingdom. The same immigration fraud scheme may have aided Mr. Elmi in obtaining federally-backed student loans for his attendance at North Dakota State University. Mr. Elmi and Rep. Omar simultaneously attended North Dakota State University and may have derived illicit benefits predicated on the immigration fraud scheme,” he continued.”
