Prayer Requests 6-15-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 119:89-96

ל Lamedh

89 Your word, Lord, is eternal;
    it stands firm in the heavens.
90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations;
    you established the earth, and it endures.
91 Your laws endure to this day,
    for all things serve you.
92 If your law had not been my delight,
    I would have perished in my affliction.
93 I will never forget your precepts,
    for by them you have preserved my life.
94 Save me, for I am yours;
    I have sought out your precepts.
95 The wicked are waiting to destroy me,
    but I will ponder your statutes.
96 To all perfection I see a limit,
    but your commands are boundless.

  1. I could use prayer for my concern over a church and pastor issue. I found I could hardly look him in the eye last night when he came to a Christian outdoor concert at another church. I need to do what is right in the Lord’s eye and the church board needs to do what is right. It is complicated, but disturbs me more and more. It is a money issue, in a sense, but more than that.

  2. Seventeen year old’s main worker, who actually seems to understand how she works and is giving her good tools, was supposed to come today. But her brother is in ICU after a late night car race accident. Prayer for all involved, that they would see their need for God. Prayer for daughter and us that we survive this missed appointment.

  3. On this Fathers Day, let’s pray for all the unsaved fathers that may be in our lives. I am praying for X, his step-father (The Boy’s “real” Grampa), and father (whom The Boy has met maybe two or three times, and refers to as “my dad’s dad”).

  4. For a little background – “Grampa” is a very nice man, a former alcoholic, but also a staunch atheist. X’s bio father, who lives in the midwest somewhere, has been called a sociopath by X’s mom. I don’t know if that is true, but he comes across as charming, although he all but abandoned his first family (he has a second wife and another son who don’t have anything to do with X or his sister).

    (Interestingly, the second son has a first name that rhymes with X’s, and his middle name is the Gaelic version of X’s middle name.)

  5. Forgot to mention earlier that tomorrow morning is the next court hearing for Nightingale and X. This time, he will have an attorney, too. Please pray that Nightingale will have favor with the judge, and that he will see through any lies or exaggeration or other kind of truth-twisting from X. Thank you.

  6. We’re all at VBS starting tomorrow, too, except three of my kids who are either going to work, visiting the dentist while here, or doing a job interview in San Diego.

    Even the babies will be there!

    I need to find my mother’s PE whistle. Oldest son and I will be running kids around outside.
