It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 119:33-40
ה He
33 Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees,
that I may follow it to the end.
34 Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.
35 Direct me in the path of your commands,
for there I find delight.
36 Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.
38 Fulfill your promise to your servant,
so that you may be feared.
39 Take away the disgrace I dread,
for your laws are good.
40 How I long for your precepts!
In your righteousness preserve my life.
Prayer for Six Arrows.

Thank you, Mumsee, and all pray-ers. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for your prayers.
You all came to mind today at a most unexpected time. I traveled with a local colleague to a business meeting a couple of hours away, and at the meeting met several people I had only known by seeing their names on state-level music emails and publications. I discovered that one of the women whom I hadn’t met before today looks just like Kizzie’s firstborn. 🙂 And she has the same first name, too. 🙂
And the same pretty smile… and eye color… and dark hair pulled back in a ponytail like Nightingale in the meet-up header picture that time. *Amazing* resemblance — they could have almost been twins. I think they’re pretty similar ages, too.
So I thought of Kizzie then, and then I thought of the whole blog family. 🙂
Thank you again to all of you for praying, for loving, for simply being you. Even when I act like a curmudgeon.
