😦 🙂 Radiation continuing. Two weeks finished; six to go. Prayers for health for Ralph so he can keep up the regime. We have a friend who was hospitalized with a virus and are praying we will not get it. So far so good. Grateful we are as healthy as we are as we see those going through so much worse when we are at the hospital. We hear words of praise from those who know the Lord and are able to pray for those who seem to not want to go there at all in conversation. So thankful we have that relationship and a way of thinking that gives hope! So sorry for those who don’t.
😦 Friend who found out her great-grandchild was aborted. Oh, how sad to see your progeny rejecting the Lord and his good. They have no idea how their decisions affect others in this life and theirs for here and eternity. So thankful God gave us the gift of prayer!
I came in and found 22 e-mails in my in-box. Eight want me to send them some money. One wants some personal information (status update so they can ship me something). None of them important. The rest advertisements. I delete them all.
A very pleasant couple of weeks with a baby in the house. That is coming to a close. But we still have a few more days while his daddy waits for the next flight out and gets back into the routine of baby care. We have enjoyed getting to know our grandson.
Kathaleena – Years ago, a good friend found out that her son’s girlfriend had been pregnant with his baby, and had had an abortion. My friend was devastated.
On a brighter note, that same son (I’m pretty sure, although it could have been her other son) later would informally adopt the two daughters of a live-in girlfriend. Although he and that girlfriend broke up, those girls are still a part of their family. (I think he even had custody of them.)
Chelsea Clinton got out of college and
got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per
year. Her mom flies around the country
speaking out about white privilege
🙂 Facebook reminds me it was 2 years (!) ago today that Charlie Brown was planted by the city of LA near my front curb. It replaced one they’d planted earlier that just didn’t do so well. So they took that one and gave me a new tree that seems to be thriving. I wish he were bigger and stronger, but I guess these things take a while to reach their full potential. In several years, it should be a decent shade tree.

When my friend counts her grandchildren, she includes those girls. 🙂

You might consider feeding it, DJ, with Jobe tree sticks now that the ground is soft.
