Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 51
1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom in that secret place.
7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
you who are God my Savior,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.
18 May it please you to prosper Zion,
to build up the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,
in burnt offerings offered whole;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.
Just a quick prayer request. The next few days are looking busier than ever. There has been a change in plans regards finishing up, and I am feeling swamped and slightly apprehensive. Pray that all will turn out all right.

As the largest city in Iraq, inhabited by people from every province, Baghdad is strategic. The potential for a disciple-making movement (DMM) to start in Baghdad and spread to the rest of the nation is massive.
Outside of Kurdistan (far northern Iraq), there are less than 1,000 known believers among a population of 31 million Muslims. Praise God that the Gospel can be heard through radio, internet and satellite television, but there are few opportunities to meet a believer in Jesus face-to-face.
Some of the oldest Christian communities in the world were in Iraq. Over the last 15 years, many Iraqi Christians have left Baghdad and Iraq due to persecution, leaving fewer and fewer people to follow up and disciple Muslims who are interested in Jesus.
Please pray…
Our believing brothers and sister in Baghdad have many ministries, but few include discipleship. Recently a number of Iraqi believers were trained in a discipleship tool called Discovery Bible Study (DBS).
Pray that more of our very brave and active brothers and sisters in Iraq, though few in number, will begin a discipleship ministry leading to a movement of vibrant communities of Jesus followers penetrating other least reached areas of Iraq.
Pray that God would protect and strengthen relationships with ministries and churches, and for ever-increasing unity.
We are seeking to send a team of Christians to Baghdad for four years. A core group is ready to go; pray for more to join and for their visa access. Please pray for miraculous provision!

Kizzie, Israel has been attacked by its enemies only to have the enemies lose more land. Perhaps the X will find himself in the same situation. God works in mysterious ways.

Please pray for Nightingale, especially that she will turn to Jesus in this stressful time. (Please see my comments from last night on yesterday’s prayer thread, if you haven’t already.) She is stressed, overwhelmed, and angry about X’s latest attempt to harass her (and that is what this is). Since his complaint to the court has to do with her supposedly not following their parental agreement, she took a new look at it.
It says that they should try to amicably resolve any disputes, yet X hasn’t mentioned (through his mom) any problems with his visitation, and has actually had more time with The Boy than the agreement originally called for.
As for his complaints that she is not involving him in decisions about school, sports, activities, or medical issues, the agreement states that those are up to the custodial parent – Nightingale.
She is going to hire a friend’s lawyer to represent her. Her previous lawyer was not aggressive at all, and her friend’s lawyer is known as a “kick-[butt] lawyer”. She is also considering trying for full custody.

Kathaleena – I saw your comment after I posted mine, but yeah, that is what we are hoping.
It is really too bad that he is doing this, as he had been behaving so calmly and respectful for quite a while. But this underscores Nightingale’s warning to not get sucked into his seeming “niceness”, as he has a pattern of reverting to old behavior just as we get lulled into thinking everything will be fine.
Poor Nightingale is so upset and stressed. 😦

Prayers for Chas as he goes through the excitement and stress of his sharing of historical information that may prompt news stories and require extra from him. Please, Lord, give him peace of mind so he can rest easy. You, God, have the whole world in Your hands, even the past mapping of the moon. Please keep excellent watch over the health and well-being of Chas and Elvera. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Kizzie, Dave Ramsey says that in divorce and custody cases, you want a lawyer who is so nasty that even you don’t like him. 🙂

Wisdom, please. Fourth daughter is struggling in the throes of post partum. Listening to lies in her head, just like first daughter in law experienced when she had her mental breakdown. Wisdom on how to direct her beyond, get yourself to the doc immediately.
