Prayer Requests 3-6-19

Psalm 32

¹Blessed is the one
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.
²Blessed is the one
    whose sin the Lord does not count against them
    and in whose spirit is no deceit.

³When I kept silent,
    my bones wasted away
    through my groaning all day long.
⁴For day and night
    your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
    as in the heat of summer.

⁵Then I acknowledged my sin to you
    and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
    my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave
    the guilt of my sin.

⁶Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
    while you may be found;
surely the rising of the mighty waters
    will not reach them.
⁷You are my hiding place;
    you will protect me from trouble
    and surround me with songs of deliverance.

⁸I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
    I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
⁹Do not be like the horse or the mule,
    which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle
    or they will not come to you.
¹⁰Many are the woes of the wicked,
    but the Lord’s unfailing love
    surrounds the one who trusts in him.

¹¹Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!

Heavenly Father, please help Mumsee with the many challenges that she faces each day as she works Your good into damaged lives. Please infuse her with Your wisdom and patience ready for use whenever situations present. I ask Your blessings to be upon her and Mike and the rest of her family as they transition to a new abode. Please bring peace when turmoil and strife want to be the order of the day. Please give Mumsee good support in all she is responsible for, and please keep Mike safe in traveling and pain free as much as possible. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Please pray for my mom. She’s at the ER right now. My sister-in-law, who lives next door to my parents, reports:

R [my brother] and A [my niece] are taking [my mom] right now to the emergency room. A called me and she said Grandma fell over in church tonight and she was unresponsive for a while.

[Mom’s] eyes were open but she did not respond to A asking her to squeeze her hand and she didn’t respond to questions or to follow a finger with her eyes.

[Mom] doesn’t remember this happening. She is talking now and responsive but has no memory of it.

[Mom] said [my dad — who has dementia]] didn’t eat much for supper and he is at home alone so they want me to take [him] a sandwich and check on him.

Oh 6 I am so sorry to hear this about your Mom and thankful your family was close by to get her to the hospital. Praying for her to heal and that our precious Lord will bring to you His calm in the midst of it all. Wisdom for the Doctors as well……
