Prayer Requests 2-23-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 23

1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
   he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
   He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
   I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
   your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
   You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life,
   and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

  1. I posted this on Facebook yesterday after being on a Samaritan’s Purse (muted) prayer call with Franklin Graham and VP Mike Pence..

    “Vice President Pence has called for a special prayer focus on Venezuela over the weekend. Please join Brothers and Sisters in Christ to pray over the many suffering in the aftermath of the fallen Socialist government and the time it takes for restoration of the depleted nation. Millions are fleeing from the country to seek food, medicine, and basic needs of living. Please pray for Samaritan’s Purse and other groups who are bringing in aid. Please pray for the Vice President as he visits the area. I personally ask for all reading this to please set aside political differences that keep people angry and upset so they have no time to pray to the One God who can and does find ways to create goodness out of chaos. Prayer is a great untapped resource God has given believers to be a force for good. Let’s not waste it. ♡”

  4. After five plus years, daughter has turned in her resignation to my dad. She plans to leave them by mid April. Prayer for wisdom in finding somebody to help them out. They could do with just somebody coming in a few hours a week. Or another live in would be good.
