Prayer Requests 2-15-19

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Anyone else?

Psalm 15

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
    Who may live on your holy mountain?

The one whose walk is blameless,
    who does what is righteous,
    who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
    who does no wrong to a neighbor,
    and casts no slur on others;
who despises a vile person
    but honors those who fear the Lord;
   who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
    and does not change their mind;
who lends money to the poor without interest;
    who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.

   Whoever does these things
    will never be shaken.

  1. The Kluet, who live in Aceh Province on the island of Sumatra, is one of the leas-reached people groups in Indonesia.

    The Kluet live in two districts of South Aceh Regency and have a strong sense of ethnic identity, so they keep close to each other and do not mix well with other ethnic groups. As a result, their culture is rather closed to outsiders and to the Gospel. The Kluet are followers of Islam but are very bound up in traditional animistic practices. Mission efforts are developing ways to reach out to the Kluet; including children’s education, sports ministry, and relief and development programs, all with the focus on seeing disciple-making movements emerge.

    OM Indonesia has developed “Vision 28”: to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among 28 of the least reached people groups in Indonesia by 2028. The Kluet, who live in Aceh Province on the island of Sumatra is one of these people groups.

    Please pray…
    Pray that churches will be full of God’s compassion and love to serve and send Gospel workers to this people group.

    Pray that the disciples of Christ who live in the Kluet area will have courage and wisdom to share the Gospel with the Kluet people.

    Pray that the heart of this people group will be prepared and opened to know Jesus as personal Lord and Saviour.

    Pray that God would prepare people of peace among this people group who seek the Truth.

    Pray that this people group would be adopted by small groups and churches so that prayer for them is raised up and workers are sent to reach them.

  2. Mom had her stress test yesterday and I have not spoken to her as of yet but she put up a fight with my sister and nieces before going in. I was on the phone for what seemed like forever trying to calm her down. Praying she will see that no one is out to harm her nor inconvenience her life….

  3. I already prayed early about Jo’s need.
    Praying for this new need related Tychicus. May some of the projects break throgh long term barriers. May the learn how all people are made in God’s image so they have a basis for more entry from outside.
