🙂 Family home for an early Christmas. 🙂 Made cookies for church, so the grandchildren will have cookies. They would have been shocked to come and find none. I did manage to make a few more goodies. It was a last minute decision, more or less, for both families. They will probably both be going to a huge light display that is a bit more than an hour away. It will be featured nationally next year. We have been many times, so will (maybe) skip this year. Grandpa is making his famous sourdough pancakes. 🙂
🙂 Husband’s brother was at rehab when he had his 7th heart attack. Best place to be. So far, he and SIL seem to be doing okay.
😦 I may have been listening at the wrong place, but I have heard “Silent Night” twice this year. Once our church choir sang it in Spanish. Another on a TV commercial about abandoned pets.
It is warmer than that in my house, should have come here for Christmas! But I was praying for you this morning, as your card marks my spot currently in Ephesians.
There’s a nice jazzy rendition of Silent Night on guitar that I found on YouTube. But the clip that came up next was even more interesting … life in 1957 America
The government is shut down, but the sun came up anyhow.
🙂 The sun has turned around and is headed back this way.

It is only 18 degrees in Boulder this morning. Too cold to stay in bed.

Sorry> I’ve been trying for “Silent Night”. You all know by not that it was written for the guitar. And nobody does guitar better than Chet.

Thanks, Chas, I am listening to him now, but can’t cut and paste with this thing.
