Prayer Requests 12-20-18

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

And let’s remember Art and Janice as well, who spent last night in the ER.

Psalm 120

¹I call on the Lord in my distress,
    and he answers me.
²Save me, Lord,
    from lying lips
    and from deceitful tongues.

³What will he do to you,
    and what more besides,
    you deceitful tongue?

I need prayers for wisdom today. I have a situation with two of my agents and I am going to need the patience of Job, the wisdom of Solomon, and the faith of Paul to get it taken care of. Dealing with forceful personalities can be a strain. Especially when one is another female. I want to be on her side and I want to be fair to the other side.

I also need the same prayers for dealing with my own child right now. She is having a
breakthrough and realizing that choices she made are the reason she is where she is. While she is starting to see things clearly, she isn’t quite ready to admit that she needs to change her ways and her thinking. I may have caused a set back last night. I will know this afternoon if she shows up at my house.

Also, Middle Son-The Marine will be here tonight. I think he is staying two weeks. While I can deal with it, I am not sure his father can. Mr P is already telling me all the things he is going to say and do to “set him straight” and “he needs to grow up”. I smile and tell him it isn’t my place to say anything. I AM The Stepmother. This one has my heart because he was old enough to feel the rejection when his mother left. I always want to take care of the underdog.

Two weeks is a long stay. Prayers for all and I have thought of Real as well today, hope he’s feeling better; my cousin is heading in to her doctor today with cold/flu symptoms.

I never had to deal with the son and father tensions that can occur. I well remember them from watching my own dad and brothers. I see a bit from watching my grandsons and their fathers. My prayers for the growth needed by both father and son, Kim. BG is always in my prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers. I had a long nap and feel some better. Art is not worse and may be a bit better.

Many things to pray for today. May the awesome power of God bring breakthroughs in personal and professional relationships, in health related matters, and in the hearts of loved ones who have been opposed to receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen
