Prayer Requests 11-21-18

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajisuun and The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 105:1-7

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
    make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
    tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name;
    let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always.

Remember the wonders he has done,
    his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
you his servants, the descendants of Abraham,
    his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
He is the Lord our God;
    his judgments are in all the earth.

  1. Praise God it is raining and the air quality is now “moderate.”

    Please pray for my daughter and her friend who will leave LA at noon to drive I-5 through the valley– now socked in with smoke– to come home for Thanksgiving.

    I hope she makes it by tomorrow . . . .

    A blessed Thanksgiving to you all.

    We have much to be thankful for here.

  2. Prayer for husband as he is in Texas and got a text from his doc reminding him of his appt this Monday. He thought it was next Monday. So he had his dispatcher find him a load headed back. He is waiting for that to get loaded then heads through Houston Thanksgiving traffic and up into Oklahoma City Thanksgiving traffic and then hastens back to Spokane as quickly as the E-logs allow so he can race down to Boise for his infusion. Poor guy.

    And also pray that he will remember to talk to them before the infusion. He had several possible allergic responses after the last infusion.

  3. Husband is still stuck in Houston. They told him to leave his trailer and come back in three hours. He did. They said, “Oh, are you still here? I crossed you off.” Called back to the back and the guy said yep, it’s here. Just waiting for T to get back so we can bring the trailer over and we can begin loading. But T is at lunch so it will be a while.

    The plan to be loaded and on the road by three turned to five and then to sometime after nine. Hmm. Maybe God won’t let him get the infusion. Maybe God is protecting him from an accident. God knows what He is doing.
