It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajisuun and The Gambia.
Anyone else?
Psalm 62
1 Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
3 How long will you assault me?
Would all of you throw me down—
this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
4 Surely they intend to topple me
from my lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.
5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
9 Surely the lowborn are but a breath,
the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance, they are nothing;
together they are only a breath.
10 Do not trust in extortion
or put vain hope in stolen goods;
though your riches increase,
do not set your heart on them.
11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
“Power belongs to you, God,
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”
Little Miss got her 6 month shots Monday. She still isn’t happy. I can hear her crying. Grandpa has his hands full.

No word on Connie. She was heard on a radio by the outfitters on Wednesday but they could not understand what she said.

The young man from Maryland is also still missing (totally different areas). He was last seen talking with his friends at the filming site where they were filming something or other. He may have gone into a mine. I don’t think he is any where close to being as prepared to survive as she is but you never know. God knows.

Please pray for Mitch. He is the son of my friend. He has had diabetes since being a boy and was in a tragic accident a few years ago because of it. He had multiple injuries, including a steel rod in his leg. He has been in a wheel chair because of pain for quite awhile now. They found bone on bone in his knees and he went for surgery on one knee Monday morning. That went ok, but his bones are very brittle, because of his not walking. He has severe arthritis. He has two insurance plans and neither want to pay for rehab now. He lives alone and my friend only has an RV. They normally go south for the winter and would be gone already except for this. I am sure that our social system will work out something, but it is added stress for his folks. My friend and her husband had a funeral for his sister yesterday. She was the good Christian woman on life support. This is also the couple who have lost 3 children already. Please pray for Mitch and his folks for the peace and help they need.

The general consensus for Connie is that the wolves got her and her dog. They would leave no trace. But she was ready to head for Home and her husband Lloyd.

I pulled it up Mumsee. She looks like such a friendly woman. How sad.

She is a delight and her smile is just as she is. Loves life, loves nature, loves people, and loves God.

Her next project was to teach eleven year old to ride the horse. That got side tracked as she was taking care of her husband to the end.

I didn’t hear the original report on Connie, so I didn’t see any links to the story or so forth.

Mumsee, was she someone you knew?

Though I am happy for her in some ways, if she did get done with this life while out where she loved to be, I am very sad for me. She has been a great encourager to me, as was her husband, over the years And if she is gone, I shall miss her, though I am happy for her. Selfishly, I hope they find her and she is well. And if not, I do hope she did not suffer much.
A lot of folk in the area feel the same way. She has been a light to many.

Mumsee, I am sorry for your loss, if it is such.
