Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 24
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
5 They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.
7 Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
About an hour ago, X picked up The Boy for their camping trip (with some other folks from his AA group). They will be gone until Monday afternoon. Please pray for their safety, and that God will move in the midst of them.

Oh, also. . .please pray that the tendinitis I have in my left shoulder will heal soon. I thought it was mostly gone, but it got worse a couple days ago, finally convincing me that I do need to take a full regimen of the anti-inflammatories I have. (Because I am prone to tendinitis, I have a prescription that I can keep on hand as needed. I do not take advantage of them, but use them sparingly when absolutely necessary.)

One of the boys injured his ankle in the football game last night, results are in. He broke the ankle and the tibia in two spots. Football is such a sport. I imagine the family could use some prayer.
Boy is a star player who will be missed in football and probably basketball this year. A lot of the students play in all of the sports or they would not have teams.

Arm is worse this morning. Very painful. Getting dressed was an ordeal. I was thisclose to asking Nightingale to come down and help me. Doctor’s office is closed, so we may be going to an urgent care place.

I had a couple dreams that I had gotten up in the morning and my arm was much better, and I felt so relieved. Then I would wake up, realize it was only a dream, and cry.

Kinda funny: I’ve been spelling it tendInitis, because that’s what my spell-check says it should be, although it makes more sense to be spelled tendOnitis, considering it is about the tendon. Now I’ve been seeing the second spelling online, which makes more sense to me.

Kizzie if you keep the arm immobilized does that help…or a warm pad on it? I am so sorry the meds are not providing relief….keeping you in prayer sweet sister….

Thank you, NancyJill, and anyone else praying. I am babying the arm, trying not to use it any more than necessary. The range-of-motion in that arm is way down, so I can’t use it for much anyway.
We did go to the urgent care place in a nearby town. The nurse practitioner gave me a shot of cortisone in my shoulder, and a prescription for Vicodin. Although still hurting, it has taken the particularly painful edge off. He said that I should feel more relief tomorrow, and should be about 80% better in three or four days.
It may still be hurting bad, but I am relieved. Nightingale and I were talking about how the anxiety of wondering if a pain is going to get even worse is often as hard to deal with as the pain.
